This is a one of a kind home on the lake at Almanor West. Custom windows on the front and back allow you to look right through the house to the incredible views of the lake.
We are located on one of the best ski and wakeboard locations on the West Shore. We have two buoys where you can tie up your boats, as well as a swim dock. Almanor West has a private launch ramp for your use. There is also a golf course, tennis courts, and rec. area. Hiking and Biking trails as well. There is a Forestry Department bike trail from the boat launch all the way to the dam - 9 miles each way - a great way to start the day.
Lake Almanor has world class fishing. The lake and the surrounding streams yield trophy sized rainbow trout, brown trout, Chinook Salmon, smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Google "Lake Almanor Hex Hatch" for more info.

The great room is designed for comfortable family living and entertaining. The huge gourmet kitchen is perfect for whipping up pancakes in the morning, and cooking up gourmet dinners after a day on the lake. The dining table seats 10 (12 cozy), with more seating at the large kitchen island. The seating area is grouped around a huge stone fireplace. Beautiful aged hickory wood floors, a vaulted beamed ceiling with custom lighting, and stone walls in the kitchen and fireplace make this a room the heart of the home.
The unique walk out patio is paved with beautiful pavers that compliment the ledgestone exterior. Since it is a patio rather than a raised deck, there are no railings obstructing the view of the lake. A gas Weber barbecue, two dining tables, lounge chairs, and an outdoor fire pit make this the place you want to be.
The master suite has a 12 foot wide custom sliding glass door flanked by custom 8 foot tall windows. Open everything up and wake in the morning to the sound of waves breaking on the beach - it feels like you are sleeping outside! The master bath is wrapped in limestone and granite. Heated limestone floors, slab granite dual vanities, a Jacuzzi jetted tub with its own heater, and a dual head limestone shower. Tankless water heaters throughout ensure you never run out of hot water.
Two additional suites upstairs also have beautiful lake views as well as their own private baths. Featuring designer tile treatments, one suite has a large custom shower, the other has a large soaking tub/shower. The shower suite features two double beds. The other suite has a king bed.
The bunk room features three queen sized beds. Kids love this room! It also has an attached bath with dual vanities and a tub / shower combination.
The loft is where our kids like to hang out and talk, play games, and of course send text messages.
