Welcome Home to this spacious (3000+ square feet), three-bedroom (plus a loft and a great room with a pull-out couch), two-bathroom home located within walking distance of the town of Winter Park, Colorado. Located in a peaceful neighborhood in Winter Park, you can sit on the back deck and enjoy the solitude or relax inside by the wood burning stove (we will even have wood waiting for you) after a day of activity.
This comfortable, family-owned, vacation home is not a part of a rental pool and is used primarily as our second home (only rented a few weeks each year). You deal with owners directly, not a rental agency.
Fully furnished to sleep 6-8 people comfortably. Sleeping arrangements include a king size log bed (in a large master bedroom that has room for sleeping bags/blow up mattresses on the floor), a second bedroom with a very comfortable queen-size log bed and a 3rd bedroom with two twin log beds (great for kids). The loft has a large desk in it with wireless access so you can 'work from home' if needed.
The great room is comfortable and very open to the fully-equipped kitchen and dining room. Plus, the kitchen is already stocked so you do not have to go to the store for condiments that will go mostly unused.
Alpine and Nordic skiing, ice skating, hiking, mountain/road biking, golf, fly fishing, and tennis are all nearby. You can ski at either the family-friendly ski resort of Winter Park or the beautiful cross country center Devil's Thumb. Snow Mountain Ranch is also within 15 minutes driving distance. Once you arrive there is no need to drive. Leave your car in the 3-car garage and use the FREE Winter Park Shuttle with a bus stop right outside the house. You are also within walking distance to the lovely town of Winter Park. Additionally, in the summer months, we have over 600 miles of mountain biking trails right in our back yard!
