This charming, Non-Smoking chalet, we’ve named "Loon’s Landing," sits across the street from a public beach on a pond in the Village of Eidelweiss, a vacation community in Madison, New Hampshire at the entrance to the Mount Washington Valley. You can sit on the deck and call to people on the beach!
The upstairs features a living room with a woodstove, large dining area, kitchen, bath, and the master bedroom with a bunk bed which has a queen on bottom and a double on top. Downstairs are three bedrooms (two queen, one full, one sleeper sofa), and a reading area. This is such a "homey" lovely place. The lake is perfect right outside the front door, and the playground next to it is fantastic. We loved it so much we are renting again this Summer. There is so much to do and there are so many things nearby to do. Our favorite is taking the kids kayaking. The Chalet is very clean and welcoming. The wood stove is great, the big screen TV is wonderful and they have a great movie collection. I would definitely recommend renting the Chalet to anyone I know. It’s absolutely beautiful at night. Having a nice glass of wine and sitting on the porch looking at the stars is also another favorite of ours. The Chalet really has everything you need- even board games! The list goes on about the all the great things with this rental. You will not be disappointed. If you are missing anything there is a Walmart and a Hannaford near by. The local restaurants nearby are fantastic. Very family friendly. It’s the perfect place to really enjoy some family time with the kids.Owner response: Thank you. Guests are also invited to leave suggestions for board games or other vacation amenities.

We had a great time at your chalet, what a beautiful place. Everything about the place was perfect. The kids and I just loved hanging out at the beach every day and taking out the canoe. The kids even tried fishing right in front of the house and caught little sun fish, they loved it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We enjoyed a great week. Being across from the beach and not on a dirt road was a plus. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. We intend to rent again next year.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/5

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2002
About the owner: As a landlord in the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts for twenty years, I have a lot of experience in owning and managing rental property. Health and safety of my tenants and renters are my top priority. Be assured that every detail required to assure you of a pleasant vacation experience has been attended to when you spend your vacation at Loon's Landing!
Why the Owner Chose Madison:
I vacationed in Eidelwiess with my family from 1994 to 2002. My grand daughter learned to swim in the pond across the street. When we saw this chalet for sale in 2002 it was a no brainer to purchase it and turn it into a rental property that we could enjoy and give opportunities to others to build memories at an affordable cost.
The Unique Benefits at this Chalet:
This location offers a quiet setting that is just off the beaten path and is very close to all the wonderful things to do in Mt. Washington Valley!
