This charming newly renovated and decorated studio apartment is set on the ground floor courtyard of a 1924 building. The courtyard is lush with plants. The entry serves as a sitting as well as sleeping area with a convertible single sofa bed.
The main room has a custom made queen size bed, armoire and dining / breakfast bar. Off of the main room is the kitchen and bathroom with shower. The studio apartment sleeps up to three people.
Around the corner from the apartment are several restaurants, coffee bars, English pubs, wine bars, a daily fresh fruit and vegetable market in the morning, two large and two small grocery stores, pharmacy and a popular gay bar across from the Colosseum.
The studio apartment is behind the Colosseum in the antique neighborhood of Celio. It is nestled between San Giovanni, San Clemente, the park of Villa Celimontana and the Colosseum.
Located on Via Annia only a five minute walk to the Roman Forum, the Domus Aurea, the Palatino Hill and a 15 minute walk to Piazza Venezia, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Similarly, the metro and bus stops are only 5 minutes away to take you anywhere in Rome.
Within walking distance are the neighborhoods of Trastevere and Monti, this last being the heart of the historical centre, and within a few steps is the lovely park of Villa Celimontana, for nice strolls or for their summer jazz concerts.
How to reach us
From Fiumicino Airport (distance about 20 km.)
Catch the Leonardo Express train from the airport terminal (departures every 30 minutes with non-stop service to Termini Station) At the main station take the subway line A for two stops.
From Ciampino Airport (distance about 17 km.)
Outside the Arrivals terminal, find the bus line stop Co.Tra.L./Schiaffini and get off at the end of the line, Metro (subway) A "ANAGNINA". Take the metro (subway) in the direction "BATTISTINI" and get off at the "Manzoni" stop.
From Termini Station (distance about 1,7 Km.) Go to the subway (direction ANAGNINA) and take it for two stops: MANZONI or take the line B till COLOSSEO.
Via Annia is in a open traffic zone.
You can park on via Annia and other side streets and squares in the immediate area, parking required a payment from 8.00AM - 10:00 PM.
