This unit has become my family's second home. My husband and I have been visiting Kaanapali beach for over 25 years and have stayed at several different condo's. Matt's unit at Kaanapali Royal is certainly the best! We have been staying in C101 since Dec. 2008, and are about to return for our 3rd stay in April 2012. What can I say...the unit is clean, comfortable, sooo family friendly and totally convenient to the beach and Whaler's Village. Added bonus is that the unit is ground floor so the lawn is additional open space for the kid's to play. My husband and daugther actually refuse to stay anywhere else! Must add that Matt is a wonderful to work with. This is without a doubt our "Home away from home" The Butterfield Family.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

These owners truly redefine and elevate hospitality. And if that’s not enough, the location is unbeatable. The relaxing and private lanai (featuring a wet bar) is just a hop and a skip away from world class shopping, dining and entertainment and the breathtaking Kaanapali Beach – easily our favorite after exploring many beaches across the island. We walked over and snorkeled with sea turtles and experienced sunset and live music there daily. And we took a beautiful coastal bike (also provided) ride into picturesque and historic Lahaina for more shopping, dining and art. We've recommended this condo with confidence to singles, couples, groups and families. We can’t imagine a more beautiful, comfortable and convenient setting and can’t wait to book our next trip to paradise – in this condo, of course. Mahalo!

If you really want to do Maui in style and comfort, you should do it from here! This place was very accommodating to everything you want in a vacation home. The layout, the two full baths, the kitchen, and did I mention the lanai? I chose to use my time on the island going all over it to see all it had to offer. After a long day of exploring, there was nothing like spreading out in the cool, soothing tones of this condo, reviewing the days' pictures and planning our next adventure. WHATEVER you want to do in Maui, you can do it from here. Oceanside premium shopping:check. Poolside lounging: check. Five-star dining:check. Beaches,beaches, beaches:check. Access it all from Kaanapali in minutes. The owner's attentiveness is unparalleled throughout the stay, this place does not disappoint!

The condo was perfect for our family vacation (4 adults and a toddler) -- great location, quiet and well- maintained. We stayed there for 9 nights, and the unit was exactly as it appears on the photos. Matt was accommodating and generous in providing us with everything we needed with extremely prompt communication, including a couple of phone calls after our arrival to make sure that our stay was comfortable. Comparing with other hotels and condos in Maui I have stayed at, the rate of this condo is a great value. Thank you!

We stayed a week. Location: Great spot on West Maui. Easy access from Highway 30--about 40 minutes from the Kahului airport. Kaanapali Beach and Whaler's Village are a short walk. Quick drive to Aiport Beach and numerous other beaches. It's a few minutes to drive to Lahaina. There are several big grocery stores in the area including Safeway and Star Market so it was easy to buy groceries for our stay. Condo Unit: Nice golf course view. Interior decorations are up to date and everything worked. Nice furniture. No smells. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Wi-fi worked well for my computer. Complex: Pool and hot tub were nice, spacious and clean. There is some separation from the condo units so you don't feel like you're splashing around right in front of somebody's door. There are two tennis courts which don't appear to be used a lot so we had no problems getting a court to play. We brought our own racquets--not sure if racquets are available from the complex. Parking is close to the unit. The complex is gated and they do charge a parking fee (I think it's mentioned in the description). Misc: check out the Lahaina Grill (used to be called David Paul's) for what I think is the best dining on the island. Whaler's Village is a great place to shop, eat and go to the beach. If you do decide to drive instead of walk from this condo, park in their ramp and you can get your parking fare validated with a purchase.

We stayed here for about a week last October and had a great time. This is a great, clean and well kept condo in a terrific location. Walking distance to beaches, bar, restaurants etc, or a short drive up and down the west coast of Maui to other cool stuff. Our favorite was snorkeling with sea turtles at Black Rock. I highly recommend this property.

Friends and I were honored to stay in this condo last year, and we loved every minute of it! It was not only beautiful, but immaculately clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. We were there in September, and it seemed we had the whole place to ourselves. The location couldn't be better. You could walk to the beach and Whaler's Village in a matter of several minutes. You literally walk onto the golf course from your lanai. Everything about this place was enchanting - it was a dream come true. Thank you for sharing this beautiful condo!
