Healdsburg Modern Cottages are distinctively designed and furnished in the traditions and sensibilities of 20th century modernism and are nestled in Healdsburg, California, a quietly hip town in the Sonoma wine country. While our cottages are intended to enhance an unpretentious experience, you are mere steps away from enjoying charming restaurants and shops. Define your own authentic experience by renting a single cottage or all four cottages to provide the perfect escape from daily life for individuals or small groups.
Simple + Luxury + Private = Modern: A comfortable and simple place to rent for groups, couples, a couple couples, or a solo getaway. Healdsburg Modern Cottages guests are not seeking services and embellishments but prefer simple luxuries such as beautiful landscaped outdoor spaces, indoor spaces with a minimalist aesthetic, crisp, soft, linens that make for a great night's rest, and privacy, to boot.
Meet Eileen, Ray, Charles, and George. What's with the cottage names? Healdsburg Modern Cottages are furnished with mid 20th century modern furniture of designers, Eileen Gray, Ray and Charles Eames, and George Nelson to name a few. The furniture is authentic, like the 1930's California cottages. (one of our cottages is new construction but retains the interior sensibilities of the 1930's cottages). You'll appreciate the character of our cottages both inside and outside (with thanks to our much admired furniture designers).
Every cottage has a spa bathroom, gas fireplace, wireless internet, flat screen TV, with cable service, VCR, radio/CD player, telephone, coffee maker, a good hairdryer, ironing board and iron, Thymes toiletries, luxury towels and sheets, down pillows, duvet and the most comfortable king size bed imaginable. All cottages have access to the grounds, and the swimming pool.
