I had the pleasure of staying at the owners French Quarter Apt while in town for a convention. The location was perfect - just one block from Cafe Du Monde and Jackson Square. The apartment was perfect for two. Very clean, equipped with all the necessities and with the coolest courtyard upon entering. Fresh fruit and flowers greeted us! Would definately recommend this owner and apartment for your stay in New Orleans. Will be staying again!

Recommended for:Girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Wonderful,relaxing setting for a family reunion. Close enough to the French Quarter with a very relaxed atmosphere. This was a good choice for our first visit to New Orleans,the locaI population were very friendly. I would highly recommend this rental .

We stayed at the Burgundy House over Halloween and it was a treat! The location was close enough to the French Quarter that we could get there easily and far enough way to be quiet and neighborly. The house was beautiful and the conditions all very impressive. The updates to the kitchen and bathrooms made housing 8 people very easy. The courtyard and pool area were stunning - we only wish we were there in warmer weather to enjoy it more! We definitely plan to go back and stay again at the Burgundy House. Many, many thanks to Harold and Nick!!!

I would like to say that this home was amazing. It was very quiet and peaceful. It was not far from where we wanted to hang out. The owner of this property was very respectful and understanding. The owner was also available when needed. The rooms were big enough to accommodate my party. The outside was peaceful and beautiful. There were amazing plants and flowers arrangement. The pool was clean. My party and I did not want to leave. I would recommend this property to anyone. I looking forward to coming back to this property in the near future. Mrs. P

Charming!! Southern Hospitality at it's finest

We spent a weekend in September for my husbands 50th birthday. 6 adults and a baby. The house is gorgeous!! We have to admit, our drive from the airport had us very nervous about the location, but once we arrived and realized we were in good hands, our trepidation passed. The owner is WONDERFUL beyond compare. We were greeted by the manager with 2 bottles of wine and were offered use of their vehicle...which they left the keys in the ignition for us! We spent evenings lounging by the pool and mornings with coffee in the gorgeous courtyard visiting with the owner and his lovely dogs. The home is a bit further from Bourbon St than we would have preferred, but the hospitality and use of a car (free of charge), totally made up for it. The only negative was the mosquitos which were a bit thick by the pool. The manager was totally apologetic and provided plenty of repellent for us. I would go back in a heartbeat. Consider this adorable home for family getaways, birthdays, jazzfest etc. Oh yeah....they even provided transportation to the airport for our group!!! True hospitality

We can’t begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were excellent, the patios and grounds were gorgeous. We can’t wait to come back so we can us the pool when it warms up a bit. Sorry we didn’t get to meet you or Harold. We did get to meet Jerry and we were crazy about him. We also met one of the neighbors across the street. She was so sweet. Our other daughter and her family want to come next time too. We will probably need more than one house at that time. You have been a joy to deal with and I’ll be in touch soon.

We stayed here Oct. 14-18 2010 and it was great. It was my husband, 2 yr old son, my parents, grandma and I. 6 people total! There was plenty of room for more! The house is perfect. Love the decor. The outside is so tropical and relaxing! I will be back and have already referred co-workers and some friends who are planning trips to nola to stay here. The house was clean, and cozy. Was very comfy and the owners were so nice! Thank you Harold! We loved it!

Harold has done a wonderful job making sure this property has every amenity. We did not want for anything! The kitchen is to DIE for! I told my husband that he has to install the rotating cuboards in our house and he told me to take a photo of the ones Harold had installed. This house is so romantic, the backyard is beautiful and Harold made sure the pool was clean everyday for my kids. I enjoyed sitting on the swing and sipping a mixed drink while watching and smelling all the beautiful flowers that Harold has planted in his backyard oasis. The laundry room was such an added convenience. Normally in a hotel room I would pack dirty clothing but this time I left with clean clothing. The beds were extremely comfortable and the layout of the house is nice. I even invited some of my friends over for dinner because this house is made for entertaining. When I come to New Orleans again, I will certainly stay here!

WOW....hated to leave. Stayed here for 6 nights in July for the Essence Music Festival over the 4th of July Weekend. Grew up in New Orleans as a kid but this was my first time at the FEST. If I had known better I would have booked a couple extra days to just relax at the pool and lay around the house. 5 of us stayed and it was so nice to come in each night from the crowds of the Convention Center and Superdome to a quiet and peaceful home and not another crowded hotel. Harold was a gem and we felt like neighbors instead of just guest. The amenities inside and out where just wonderful. Got to enjoy a BBQ night before leaving with the movie crew in the house next door (ya'll can rent that one). Can't wait to get back down there and my trip will be based on availability of the Burgundy

This was a very nice 3 bedroom home. Large enough for 3 couples or a family to stay and relax in. We loved it here. It is newly remodeled and has beautiful outdoor amenities. We even loved the neighborhood. Don't let the area scare you away. We walked around in it every day and talked to neighbors about what happened during Katrina. We learned a lot and found respect for all who are there. It was safe and clean. This house was a nice reprieve away from the French Quarter when we came home in the evening. This house is a very nice house. We stayed here for my sister's bachelorette party back in March 2009. We all had a blast. It's not very far from Bourbon St either. The pool area is a very nice area to sit and relax with friends and family.

This house at first sight is deceiving, but once you step inside you enter a space that is beautifully decorated with unique furniture and fabulous artwork. I don't like to stay in the french quarter and this is far enough away to enjoy the southern hospitality of a neighborhood rebuilt, and refreshed. The outdoor gardens are manicured to display all of the flowers and greens that seclude the entire back yard with the pool. The host is gracious and kind and anybody that stays in any of his rentals will be satisfied and will call him the next time they vacation in LA.
