THE ISLAND: Long Beach Island is a barrier island 18 miles long, and on average three blocks wide, six miles off the coast of New Jersey. It is renowned for its pristine white beaches (rivaling those of Cape Cod or the Hamptons) and quaint resort towns.
THE HOUSE: This is not your typical "Down The Shore" rental, it is our family home, lovingly cared for and decorated. You enter into a sun filled living room with bay windows and river rock fireplace, TV with DVD player. There is a formal dining room and fully euipped kitchen with new dishwasher, counters, farmhouse sink and faucets. Also on the first floor are two bedrooms; one with twin beds, one with a double bed, and a full updated bath.
On the second floor is the master bedroom with queen-size bed and sitting area, Tv with built-in VCR, another bedroom with double bed, a spacious half bath w/new vanity and access to the a rooftop deck. There is a spacious, private, outdoor shower house with hot & cold, and brick patio in the rear for gas grilling and dining.
Check-in is at 3PM on saturday and check-out is at 11am the following saturday.
Please note that this rental is a housekeeping unit which means that you are responsible for leaving it as clean or cleaner than you find it. All cleaning supplies are provided: vacuum, swiffers cleansers etc. For your convenience, I also start the season with a supply of papers products, laundry and dish detergent. I only ask that you replace what you use up for the next guests (this doesn't always happen, but it would be kind of you to do it).
Please also remember that you must bring your own linens and beach supplies. I will provide a list of rental places nearby with the lease.
The house is located in a quiet family area of the island, across the street from million dollar homes on Harris Harbour. You can walk to the supermarket, (we are located 2 blocks south of the Acme) movie theatre & Skippy Dippy Ice Cream. Pinky Shrimp and the newest LBI 3 star restaurant "Blue Water Cafe" are just blocks away.A two block walk to the beach, the traffic light on our corner makes it easy to cross the boulevard or take advantage of alternate side parking up at the ocean. One half block to glorious Barnegat Bay sunset viewing or watching the boats sail the Intercoastal Waterway.
Utilities are included except for telephone, the phone is for local use, please use calling card or cell phone for long distance calls. A $500 security deposit is required. NO PETS OR SMOKING.

Plus $500 security deposit....These rates are at lease $200 less
than competitive cottage rentals
No prom parties or large groups, this is a quiet family street
