  We, like most everyone else came to San Antonio for my son's BMT graduation. Marcelino was an attentive and accommodating host from making the reservation until the day we left. The check-in process to this beautiful home was easy and hassle free. The house was very clean and nicely decorated.The picture of the front of the house is deceivingly small, the house is actually very spacious and comfortably slept 7 of us. Having a well stocked kitchen made the harried mornings getting ready to get to the base on time much less stressful. We had 7 additional family members staying within the city limits and having the house as meeting place made things less confusing. On Saturday we hosted a cookout for all providing my son and a friend from his flight the privacy to truly relax after 81/2 weeks of being under constant observation. They also took advantage of the two bathrooms and took a long, hot, private shower! The house held all 16 of us very comfortably! Our first night there we had a "run in" with a bug indigenous to the desert, being from the North East we were somewhat panicked and didn't know what to do. Marcelino graciously accepted a late night phone call from a near hysterical me and kindly instructed us on what to do and promptly followed through the next day with an exterminator. . I am not including this as a complaint (bugs happen every where) but rather as an example of how wonderful Marcelino was to deal with. My family and I are now laughing at how ridiculous we were and this experience is proving to be one of the funnier memories we will have from this trip, Having a vacation home owner who truly cares about the comfort and well being of his guests was very refreshing. My only complaint is that we didn't get to meet Marcelino in person. If I ever have an occasion to visit San Antonio I will definitely stay at one of Marcelino's homes again.

We do our very best to provide an actual Home Away from Home Experience for our guests and we explain everything up front on the phone during the reservation as to what our homes have to offer, especially the little things that make a big a difference. You will basically will only need to shop for groceries if you decide to cook and our homes offer all the rest.   We stayed November 28, 2012 - December 3, 2012. Nice house, quiet neighborhood. Close enough to Base that we were not driving on these crazy freeways too much. But far enough away from Base for our son to totally relax! We made a full home cooked meal and had plenty of kitchen amenities, which was nice. We made use of the washer and dryer, which meant we are not heading home from vacation with a suitcase full of dirty laundry... What a great feeling. 323 Mustangs - Anyplace - Anytime.   Owner response: We have two vacation homes to offer in this same community and both just 4 miles from the Valley Hi Drive entrance into Lackland AFB. Our past BMT families have informed us that they have all enjoyed the short trip to the base, the friendliness of the community, the short distance to all the restaurants, grocery stores and retail stores in the area and offering the little things that make our home away from home. The Noel's, were able to utilize the use of the washer and dryer along with the detergent and dryer sheets that we provide in all of our homes along with several other items. We are a Retired Air Force Family and understand the Importance of your visit for BMT Graduations and do offer the best BMT Cancellation, in the event of a Recycle.   November 13th - 20th, 2012: Wonderful Home! Truly enjoyed our stay and loved having a home for our Airman to come to and take an hour long shower and have his favorite home cooked meal! Absolutely beats a Hotel Room by a Long Shot! Will definitely recommend on Wingmoms! And Wherever else or to whomever else. So glad we decided to go this way. So Accommodating! Thank you so much for the Crock Pot Marcelino. Helps with meal planning. You are quite a Host. The grill outside was also a great extra. Burgers on the grill tonight, Yum! San Antonio was a wonderful experience. Loved the Riverwalk. Must say, best time, was time on base and with our Airman. So glad we could provide him with a homey atmosphere.   We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home. Family from Texas, Arizona and Colorado were able to relax and enjoy each others company while in town for our son's BMT graduation. Close to base made it easy for all of us to arrive together and on time for events at Lackland. We were able to BBQ and cook for the whole family. Had an awesome time.

  The house was very comfortable for our stay during our son's BMT Graduation from Lackland. We had 8 people stay, with 2 being young children. They had room to relax, we enjoyed swimming and our Airman enjoyed relaxing in a home setting. The other nice feature was how close it was to the base, which allowed us to pick him up and drop him off easily. Thanks! The Esin Family, IL.

  We came to San Antonio for our son's graduation from Basic Training. We had family come from South Carolina, Georgia and T and many other small items that exas to stay. It was so nice to stay together instead of having separate rooms in a hotel. The home was clean and well maintained. The decor was so nice. The provisions were so convenient to have. The laundry det., dryer sheets, toilet tissue, papertowels, soaps, all linens, shampoo, there were even spices, coffee, coffe filters and many other small items that would add up financially if you had to try to supply them for a weeks stay. The home even has tons of extra blankets, and even has blow up nmattresses! They have tried to think of everything you could possibly need while you were staying here. You will definately be very pleased with your accomodations here! Check in was just as easy as it sounds...there were no problems at all. If I were returning to San Antionio I would definately choose this listing.

  My GPS took me a route that made me think maybe I had put us in an unsafe place. I WAS WRONG! The neighborhood was quiet, nice and people friendly. The home was very comfortable, tastfullly furnished, and more importantly clean. Perfect for us to be able to cook homemade meals for our son, a Navy Sailor....and have ample space to relax. Each of us had our own room with a tv. That was nice after spending 9 hours in the car! Kitchen and laundry well equiped and made our stay that much more like home. Working with the owner was exceptional. Very courteous and accomodating. In fact we have called again to rent from him. I RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS VACATION HOME TO ANY FAMILY.

  Owner response: San Antonio continues to grow out to the edge of the city boundaries with new homes, retail stores and restaurants. This home is located in one of those communities with all new retail and restaurants just 5 miles away. We provide directions from the Airport to the home and at anytime we are available for alternate directions or any questions. Many GPS directions are not updates or current and have taken our guests out of the way to reach our homes. We have taken great measures to ensure that our homes are well equipped and offering the home away from home environment.   Our initial thought /concern was prior to arriving at the home. It looked like a bad neighborhood with all the graphity etc. But when we turned off in the other direction, we were relieved. the home is in a quiet neighborhood. NEVER heard any noise/parties/cars etc. The home was well furnished, very clean and comfortable. Perfect for us to be able to cook home cooked meals for my son after graduation. We had 6 adults and 2 children that stayed in the house. All slept well. Wonderufl having the washer and dryer so came home with no dirty clothes. Had a few questions on how to run TV and AC unit. owner very kind to answer those questions. i would recommend staying here to anyone.

  Stayed at this house for Basic Training graduation. About 10 minutes to the base. There were 10 of us (2 older children) and our Airman. We did use air mattresses because of sleeping 8 adults, which worked out great. House was very clean. Owner answered a ? for us happily re directions to base. Our airman did not want to see San Antonio - he wanted to come to the house and relax, which is what we did. Because we've been to San Antonio numerous times, everyone else took 1 trip to the Alamo and Riverwalk and my son and I stayed at the house. Worked great. Would definitely recommend this house.
