Stayed for my son's Air Force Graduation

Our initial thought /concern was prior to arriving at the home. It looked like a bad neighborhood with all the graphity etc. But when we turned off in the other direction, we were relieved. the home is in a quiet neighborhood. NEVER heard any noise/parties/cars etc. The home was well furnished, very clean and comfortable. Perfect for us to be able to cook home cooked meals for my son after graduation. We had 6 adults and 2 children that stayed in the house. All slept well. Wonderufl having the washer and dryer so came home with no dirty clothes. Had a few questions on how to run TV and AC unit. owner very kind to answer those questions. i would recommend staying here to anyone.

Perfect for graduation

Stayed at this house for Basic Training graduation. About 10 minutes to the base. There were 10 of us (2 older children) and our Airman. We did use air mattresses because of sleeping 8 adults, which worked out great. House was very clean. Owner answered a ? for us happily re directions to base. Our airman did not want to see San Antonio - he wanted to come to the house and relax, which is what we did. Because we've been to San Antonio numerous times, everyone else took 1 trip to the Alamo and Riverwalk and my son and I stayed at the house. Worked great. Would definitely recommend this house.

We have two homes just 4 miles from Lackland AFB, which allows extra time to spend with family. We vacationed in this home with another family at the end June this year. We stayed in this home comfortably with 4 adults and 4 children (all 5 and under). There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out with comfortable beds and a large dining table for all of us to visit & eat at. All of the applicances worked and everything was clean and well maintained. The photos reflect what this property has to offer. I think the outside picture of the front may be a different property though - definitely similar though! We had busy days at Sea World and the Zoo and were so glad to come back to such a comfortable place. We wish we would have had more time to enjoy the beautiful pool and playground for the kids! We were really looking forward to making use of it, but we were just overscheduled! I would recommend this property to a family planning to visit SeaWorld. You may have to look around and drive a little for decent restaurants though - we may have just overlooked them, but we didn't see much to choose from in the immediate area.

Owner response:Three nights just isn't enough time to see what San Antonio has to offer. Our guests are alway welcome to call for suggestions. Several restaurants are located just 5 miles from our vacation homes and several local and chains to choose from, and all located on one mile stretch of Highway 151. I did want to clarify that the pictures on all our listings are all from our homes. The front of the home picture was definitely similar, because it is the same home. We have several guests comment that our homes look much better in person when they arrive, than our listing photo's reflect. The best dinner after a long day at Sea World and just a 10 minute drive home is a pizza delivery dinner. Thank you and I hope we see you again soon.

PERFECT FOR BMT GRADUATION

We stayed here May 18-22 to attend our son's BMT graduation. It was perfect for my husband and I, our teenage son, my parents and my husband's parents. The house was perfect size to accomadate all of us very comfortably. The house had everything we needed, was so clean and so close to the base. After we had to leave our son or return him to base, it allowed us to hang out together as if we were at home instead of a 2 bed hotel room. It was abosutely wonderful. And owners were so accomadating and helpful. I could not have asked for nicer people to deal with. This was a wonderful place to stay and perfect for what we needed. I would definately recommend this house to anyone coming to stay at San Antonio. I hit the jackpot when I found this place for my family to stay. Thank you for sharing your home.

We have been told by several military families, that having two vacation homes just 4 miles from Lackland AFB allows military families just a little more extra time to enjoy with their son's and daughter's. Don't Miss out on this Comfortable Home

Our Family stayed in this home on March 20 through the 27. We came to San Antonio for our sons BMT Graduation. This house is exactly what the pictures shows, exteremly clean and roomy. Very close to the Air Force Base and atttractions. The surrounding of the houses is very clean also, you feel like your at home and in a safe enviroment. It was nice to have all the dishes, towels, appliances right there to use, and we did use them, it was nice going home with clean laundry and not having to do laundry when you returned home was able just to unpack the suite case and relax. We will be coming back to San Antoino and will be staying in the home again, we just need to find out dates of our return. The Owner Marcilleno, was very helpful in answering all of our questions, and was extermly freindly. I have recommend this property to friends that are coming to San Antoinio in November for a wedding. Dont hesitate in renting this property, the fees may seem high, but once you stay and compare to a hotel with their fees, eating out, and not having to stay in a crowded hotel room and hotel noise, it is worth every cent. We stayed here in October of 2010 for out Daughters AF Graduation. It was 5 star all the way. The house was clean and very compfortable. Could use a new BBq but what ever every thing else made the stay very nice. Thanks a ton.

I'm sorry about the BBQ Pit, after inspecting it, we found that someone had placed charcoal inside to start a fire and burned out the gas grill burners. I wish you would have called me sooner about the BBQ Pit, we would of had it replaced the same day. We currently have two homes in this same community and both are just 4 miles from Lackland AFB, which is the greatest benefit, because it allows other military families just like yours to spend more time with their daughter's or son's, when off base. Feb 9 to Feb 14, 2011: Your home is very comfortable and well equipped with all the kitchen utensils and such. It felt really "Homey"! If we ever need to come to San Antonio again, we will definately consider using one of your homes. We were her for my granson's BMT graduation at Lackland AFB. Very professionally run property. Mr. Borrego easy to deal with. House well equipped for 4 couples. Being located by Hwy 90 and Loop 1604 made it convenient. Thank you, The Butler's, Kee's & Hatlers from Texas, New Mexico and Tennessee. This was a wonderful place for four families to come together for a holiday visit. The home had everything you need, and the location made it easy for us to visit different areas of San Antonio!! We loved it and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mr. Borrego for having everything ready for us. The Christmas tree was a nice touch.
