We have totally enjoyed our stay here and thank you for opening your home to us. The unit is well equipped, clean and VERY comfortable. The location is ideal for area golf courses and restaraunts. Would love to return next year if our plans permit. We thank you and Darlyn for this wonderful opportunity. The unit was everything you described and more.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, bright condo. The weather this year at Sunset Beach was wonderfully warm - we enjoyed many walks on the beach with our pet Shitzu. The condo is well equipped. Beds very comfortable. We were happy to report that we saw the resident (huge) alligator and then a baby alligator visiting with a number of large turtles. We'd be happy to come back to this unit again.

Our stay was from December 1, 2011 to February 29, 2012. We have enjoyed our stay immensely...condo is very comfortable and equipped well for a 3 mo. stay away from home. We did miss having a garbage disposal but other than that, the kitchen is stocked with everything! We have so enjoyed walking on the beaches, Vereen Gardens, shopping and the eateries in Calabash and Sunset Beach. The drive into Little River and North Myrtle Beach is fairly quick for more activities and shopping. The condo is on the golf course and the grounds are very pleasant and quiet...lots of trees, ponds, greenery. Saw turtles and herons...an alligator sunning at golf course pond down the road. We did the Kindred Spirit walk to Bird Island (a beach walk) and went to the Bonfire w/live music at LaBelle Amie Vineyard several times. All great fun! Hope to be back soon.

Dear Mark and Darlyn, Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. It was exactly as described. The location was perfect for golfing, dining and the Myrtle Beach Shows. Alabama Theater XMas show is a MUST see! Your unit is very well equipped for all we needed. If anything was needed prompt service was given. We were very comfortable here. I wanted to let you know that we enjoyed our stay at Sunset Beach very much. I walked on the beach almost everyday. We picked up shells, watched the sunrise over the ocean, watched the sun set over the inlet, played on the beach, and went fishing and dolphin watching. It was great! Your condo was very comfortable. I loved all the trees at The Colony! Thank you for allowing us to come.

We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the turtles and the 2 alligators. You're condo is very nice, and was handi-cap friendly for my husband. The location was perfect. No complaints at all . Thanks, we hope to rent again in the future.

Hi Mark, I wanted to let you know that we had an awesome time at the beach. Our friends that attended were also very pleased with the property, just as we were. The location was great. Quiet and secluded, while close to a few good locations. Our friends brought their toddler along and he loved the beach. The water was amazing. Super warm. Cooper and Willa (our doodles) also had a great time. We took them for walks around the property. Thanks so much! If we visit Sunset Beach again we now know of a great place to stay!

We spent a very nice 3 1/2 months here. The condo was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The extras like Wifi and cable TV were nice to have especially during the cold rainy days. Thankfully there weren't too many of those. Thanks for an excellent winter experience.

Wonderful Condo. Everything one can need or want was there. We enjoyed 4 beautiful days there. Owner very friendly and answered all questions. Neighbors very friendly and helpful about the area.and the grounds were beautiful. A bit too cool for swimming but the pool was open. Small pond 15 feet from the back porch with about 12 turtles sunning themselves daily. We will definitely be back when we return to the area.

This condo was just a great place for my husband and I with our 4 kids. It was clean, well kept and easily accessible. Mark was great to work with- very accomodating. Kids loved that the pool is just right across the way. Just a short drive to the bridge to go over to the beach. Really just a great place to stay!! My hope is that everyone who stays will continue to pay it forward in terms of leaving toilet paper, paper towels etc. We tried to leave the condo even better than when we arrived!! An extremely hospitable owner provides a clean and spacious unit--beautiful surroundings, a place that we immediately felt "at home". Well-equipped kitchen and laundry, loved the WIFI, nice pool and close proximity to the island. Sunset Beach is fabulously relaxing. Perhaps one of our most favorite things was watching the stunning blue herrons who frequented the pond just outside the condo. Very tranquil spot!

First floor unit with pond outside your back patio and a wonderful array of flowers. Across the lane a gorgeous pool. Doesn't get any better then that. We stayed for a month and enjoyed every minute. Being away from all the traffic in Myrtle Beach makes this the perfect getaway. If you want to keep busy you are only 20 minutes away from it. Mark, the owner is very quick to answer any questions you have and is always helpful. We will be back next year. Pete and Barb Ontario

We had a wonderful time at Sunset Beach, the condo was absolutely beautiful very spacious. The owner of the condo is a very sweet spirited man and makes sure that everything goes well while you are there. The condo itself is in a very quiet and peaceful area.I would definetely recommend anyone to stay and enjoy themselves here, well worth it.

We had a terrific vacation at the colonies. The condo was clean and spacious! There was so much to do in a close proximity: tennis, swimming and golf. Sunset Beach is beautiful and only a short drive away. We also enjoyed the choices in great restaurants. Awesome place to take your family!!!!

My 78-year old mother, sister, and I had a girls' week at this condo the last week of July. We loved it! The place was clean, comfortable, and inviting. We hated to leave at the end of the week. We hope to be able to return next summer.
