Greetings from Palm Island, Florida. Palm Island is one of the last bastions of the old Florida lifestyle. Quiet and laid-back, Palm Island is really three islands (Don Pedro, Knights and Palm) with a contiguous seven mile white sand beach on the west and harbors and inlets on the east.
Palm Island is separated from the mainland by Lemon Bay, but is served every 10 minutes by car ferry as well as water taxi and private craft. Traffic is minimal, requiring no lights or stop signs and one paved road. Although vehicles are used, most island transport is via golf cars.
Tranquility House is a four bedroom beach home completed in 2008. With approx. 3,500+ s.f. of living space under air and 7,000 s.f. total space, this property is ideal for gatherings of families, friends, weddings and special occasions.

This is an extraordinary home and if you are seeking a gorgeous, sun-swept, relaxing place to get away, I would look no further. We were married here and it served as a picture-perfect setting for a memorable, happy week. We have stayed at the property several times and each time found the entire experience completely enjoyable and worry free. The owners are nice to work with and the property is always clean and orderly. Palm Island isn't the easiest place to get to but it is well worth it. We love the home's decor and the modern amenities- it is very pretty while also very comfortable. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the overall layout of the home and property is well thought-out to compliment the beach lifestyle. We certainly give this property our highest recommendation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

About the owner: Diana and I grew up in Maine. We love Maine, but work kept us moving. We finished raising our family in Kansas City. But, we love the south Florida climate. After retiring in 2002, we expanded our property management business to include luxury vacation properties.
