This nearly new home sits high on the dune ridge and offers the complete Bald Head Island experience. Enjoy the forest tranquility or ocean views from one of the 5 separate decks and porches, two of which are screened. The house's three levels along with an adjacent crofter cottage provide plenty of space for family and friends to gather. The large, open second floor allows plenty of space for everyone to eat, play and relax together comfortably. Head off to the nearby beach or Club, or explore the island via 5 bicycles and 2 golf carts (a slower third cart is available, however, it is on "island time" and doesn't keep up with the others).

Cape Escape offered a beautifully furnished, well equipped 'escape' for us! The home is very roomy and the best equipped vacation home we have stayed in in all of the 15+ years we have been renting vacation homes on the NC coast. The location is great - very central to everything on Bald Head, while being very private at the same time. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, visit, and enjoy their vacation. The three golf carts worked out so well for us too, as different groups had the option of doing different things, and not stranding anyone without transportation. We loved Cape Escape!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
