Bring your family to River's Edge this year!
River's Edge is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but still a short 25 minute drive to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville.
River's Edge has over 250 feet of creek frontage on beautiful (and stocked!) Costy Creek, a blue ribbon rainbow trout stream that spans 60 feet across! Your kids will love fishing, wading, and tubing up and down the creek for hours on end. And when they are through playing in the creek, we have over 2 acres of FRONT YARD to play in! Bring your football, soccer ball, and Frisbee!
*** For more photos and information, make sure you visit the River's Edge website - see link below ***
For those rainy or snowy days, we have a full basement game room with gas stove, pool table, ping pong, and air hockey.
If you need to do some laundry, we have a huge utility room with Kenmore Washer & Dryer, as well as iron and ironing board.
When it's time to go to the National Park, you are only 5 miles from the Cosby entrance - one of the best kept secrets in the Smokies!
River's Edge is a fully-modern home with Thomasville and Ralph Lauren furnishings mixed with functional antiques. A huge dining table can easily seat 8 people for special occasions. We also have a new flat screen TV with High Definition programming for watching a movie or your favorite team. Full kitchen with newer Whirlpool appliances.
Look at the hills and mountains from the huge front porch, or watch the fish jump in Cosby Creek from the upper and lower level patios. It doesn't get any better than this!
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, and you can open the french door and let the rushing waters sing you to sleep. The downstairs guestroom has a queen-size bed, as well as the huge upstairs loft. Please note that we count the loft as a guestroom.
River's Edge books up quickly the the spring, summer, and fall, so make your plans early. Don't wait!

I was expecting a "cabin development" deal where you are packed in with 30 other cabins. I was shocked when we got out of the car and looked around - we had total privacy and the grounds are GORGEOUS. The creek really is more like a river - our kids spent some of every day tubing down the river. My oldest son also caught two rainbow trout! There is a great restaurant just about 2 miles away that we ate at several meals that also had a apple orchard and fruit stand. This one is a winner!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a very nice week at Cabin on Rivers Edge. The house and grounds are much larger than we expected. The creek was a constant source of enjoyment for my children and myself. Everything in and outside the house was in working order. Overall, an excellent stay. Would gladly stay again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

We had such a wonderful time while staying at the cabin on the river. The cabin was warm and inviting and so roomy. I can still hear the water running from the river, so peaceful. We had 7 adults and 2 kids and never felt crowded. The location was perfect, away from the mad crowds of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but only 20 minutes to get to the madness and not on a bumper to bumper highway. I look forward to a return stay maybe next time in the winter. Took some great pics if you would like to see them. Loved the decor of the cabin, felt at home as soon as we walked in. Thank you!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful week here. The kids floated in tubes in the creek and caught crawfish. My husband did some trout fishing, and I read books on the deck overlooking the creek. We loved all the games in the game room. This cabin is so secluded and quiet, yet close enough to tons of area attractions. The cabin decor was beautiful, and everything was very clean. The kids are already asking if we can visit again next summer!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our family just returned from Cabin on River's Edge and we had a wonderful time. My kids (ages 4 and 1) loved playing in the creek catching fish and crawfish. It was a wonderful relaxing week away from all the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I would highly recommend you visit this wonderful, quiet retreat.Did you find this review helpful?
