Waterfront living with spectacular views overlooking 2 mile long Quonochontaug Pond, Weekapaug Beach, the Atlantic Ocean and Block island can be yours this summer. Enjoy a 5 minute paddle across the Pond. Remain on the kid-friendly pond side, or take a lovely 5 minute walk across the undeveloped beach dune from Pond to Ocean. Or take a 5 minute drive to private Weekapaug beaches with life guards.

"Periphery" is situated on six secluded acres with private dock, located between Weekapaug and Shelter Harbor in the small, quiet community of Haversham. Here you'll find a nature-lovers paradise, especially for bird-watchers. Guests have said the house has the best coastal views they have ever seen in the northeast.

There are water views from every room, each of which is beautifully furnished. Two bedrooms have queen-size four-poster beds, and one bedroom has twin beds, each with full bath including granite features. There are two living rooms, a dining room, an updated kitchen, and four porches. There is a half bath off the front hall.

The outside shower has hot water, and there are tables and chairs on upper and lower porches with ample space for drinks or meals. The house is fully air conditioned.

The private dock provides immediate access to the Pond for swimming and boating and, through a substantial breachway, to the Ocean. Renters are welcome to bring boats, kayaks or canoes. Access is provided to the private Weekapaug Beaches, with lifeguards in season and, by boat, to the private beach across the Pond. The 1.75-mile long Weekapaug Beach, seen across the Pond, is one of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the northeast. With no structures permitted on the barrier beach, it is managed as a conservation and passive recreation area.

The house is easily accessible to fine dining, Watch Hill, Newport, the Mystic Seaport Maritime Museum, the Mystic Aquarium, golf, tennis, hiking, biking, shopping and casinos. There is also easy access to US Route 1, I-95, Amtrak trains, Westerly Airport (flights to Block island) and Providence Airport, as well as ferries to Block Island, Long Island, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Rhode Island is the first State to receive the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences International Star Diamond Award. It is the only the 10th destination to receive the award, that has previously gone to such places as Baden-Baden, Germany and Lucerne, Switzerland.

The Haversham neighborhood is very special for a coastal New England waterfront community because homes are surrounded by forest and meadows. Enjoy privacy, peace and quiet with a loved one on a deck or the dock surrounded by natural beauty.
