.We are located in Estate Nazareth on the East End of St. Thomas in an upscale neighborhood above Secret Harbour Hotel.
"Our Place" has it all. Not only is it a 1 minute car ride from beautiful Secret Harbour, and two other white sand beaches, it is also just minutes away by car from Red Hook where you can shop, dine, and dance until the wee hours. The Ritz Carlton and other dining venues are minutes away by car in the opposite direction.
At Our Place in St Thomas you have a choice between two very distinct units,or if you have a large family you can choose both
Our Units: The Studio Cottage:
You will love the studio's airy layout. The studio is a whopping 30x17 feet.The 16 foot vaulted ceiling will remind you of a New York loft. "Our Place in St. Thomas" was custom designed and lovingly built by your host, Joseph. His wife, Billy furnished the cottage with the attention to detail that she expects when she travels . In the cottage,the dining area has a hand crafted breakfast bar which houses a small refrigerator, coffee maker, micro wave and Forman grill.The small shower/bathroom is beautifully appointed with brass fixtures and hand painted walls.There is also an outdoor cold shower near the private hot tub.
Your 15x30 foot private terrace is so large that it becomes a second living room. You will enjoy the beautiful ocean view as you lounge on the comfortable chairs or relax in the large Jacuzzi. At night marvel at the stars.The sleeping area has an elegant queen size bed and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room area. Quality linens ,beach towels and beach chairs are provided
The Garden Suite:
The Garden Guest suite offers ocean and tropical garden views from its two terraces. One terrace is off the Bed Room . You can relax in privacy and enjoy your morning coffee while looking out over the garden off to the sea.
The newly remodeled Kitchen and Bathroom offer the latest in contemporary design and comfort. The living room has a Queen size sleeper sofa so its possible to sleep 4 in the suite
The 1 Bed Room Garden Suite has been recently renovated to offer the best in vacation rental at an affordable price.
You now have a choice: The studio cottage or the 1 Bedroom Garden Guest suite, or why not rent both if you need a place for 6 to 8 folk

I cannot RAVE enough about the wonderful time that I had staying at this location in St. Thomas. To start, the cottage is beautiful. It is very clean and well maintained, with a great location minutes from popular resorts like the Ritz Carlton, Secret Harbor, and the Elysian. It is perfect for a couple or small family with a large loft like set up. The outdoor balcony boasts panoramic ocean views and a great hot tub. So much care has been taken with the decor and ammenities to make sure you will have everything you need for your stay, from extra towels in the bathroom to a wonderfully prepared continental breakfast in the mini-kitchen/wet bar area. The hosts, Billye and Joseph, are EXTREMELY accomodating and friendly. They were very helpful in providing transporation as well as ideas about places to visit while we were on the island. The cottage is also very close to Red Hook (less than 5 minutes by car), an area that has shopping, eating, and entertainment. It also has a dock for the ferry to St. John if you choose to visit the sister island. If you stay over the weekend, be sure to check out Joseph's band at Tavern on the Waterfront, a restaurant/nightspot in Downtown Charlotte Amalie. I never expected to find such a hidden gem for such a great price when visiting St. Thomas, but I cannot wait to return on my next trip to the island. I would highly recommend this location and hope that you will have as great an experience as I did.

We stayed at "Our Place..." for 6 nights. The description of the property was accurate. It was clean and beautiful with a delicious view. We found the location to be perfect. You do need a vehicle. We were far enough away from Charlotte Amalie to have fewer crowds and traffic. Red Hook is very close and has all that you need, groceries,restaurants,banks,shops and the ferry to St. John and other islands as well as Charlotte Amalie. " Our Place" has a frig so we bought milk, cereal,bananas and fruit juice which was great for breakfast. There is a beach within a few blocks of the house but we drove as we had beach towels and chairs etc. Also it's a steep walk back to the house. The sand there was very nice and the water clear and gorgeous. There were several folks snorkeling and they said it was a fine place for that. We generally ate lunch and dinner out. The best restaurants we found in Red Hook were Molly Malones- very good seafood; Pesce- outstanding Italian food,pricey, XO- ok not great. Billye and Joe live right next door provided any help and recommendations needed. We loved our trip and only wished we could have stayed longer.

"Our Place in St. Thomas" was WONDERFUL!! It surely made for one of our BEST vacations in the Caribbean. Its location in the charming "Red Hook" district was convenient and a 5 min. walk away from great restaurants, shops, the ferry to beautiful St. John, and the 'local safari' which takes you around the island (including downtown to the FABULOUS shopping area AND turquoise/royal blue BEACHES) for $1-2/trip. If that's not enough to convince you, the VIEW of the Caribbean Sea from our BEDROOM/patio was spectacular, heavenly even. Imagine the joy of waking up to that each morning without having to get out of bed. If you choose "Our Place in St. Thomas" as your home in paradise during vacation, you will be SATISFIED!!
