Our home is in the active community of The Villages and is a newly decorated courtyard villa. Located at 983 Rockville Place in the Village of Sabal Chase, it is well centered just south of Lake Sumter Landing. You will be a short golf cart ride away (1 mile) to the all the Sumter Landing Town Square activities.
Stroll along the boardwalk lined with restaurants and have a cocktail during Happy Hour while watching the Florida sunset. Enjoy the live nightly entertainment on either Market Square (Lake Sumter Landing) or Town Square (Spanish Springs). Dance the night away or simply sit back and enjoy the music. Arrive at 5:00-6:00 for happy hour and meet new friends.
Built in 2006 we have vaulted ceilings and beautiful tile in the main part of the villa with area rugs and wall to wall capeting in the bedrooms. The lanai is even tiled!
Courtyard villas are great for backyard privacy. Six foot walls surround an extended, private backyard that can be entered either through the front gate, the dining area or out through the screened lanai to a nicely landscaped outdoor extended patio. The one and a half car garage is big enough for your car and a golf cart, and also has a washer and dryer for your use.
The kitchen has been enhanced with high end stainless appliances including side by side refrigerator and dual fuel Jenn Aire gas range with dual electric ovens, conventional top and convection lower oven. A separate dry bar provides additional cabinet space along with a pantry that has lots of shelves. A cute little bistro table for two is a cozy spot for breakfast.
The living room has a comfortable sofa and love seat along with a relaxing chair and ottoman. The entertainment center has a 42 inch TV with DVD/CD. The vaulted ceilings have ceiling fans in both bedrooms, kitchen and living room. The well-equipped open kitchen has a large pass through bar, a pantry, and lots of cabinet space. It has everything you will need for a private dinner or a party.
The master bedroom with private bath has a KING-SIZE BED, a 22” color TV for your comfort and enjoyment and a huge walk-in closet. It also has a patio door leading out to the screened lanai. Enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or a cup of coffee in the morning in total privacy in your lanai and courtyard area. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed and private bath.
The Villages is a golf cart community and so to enhance your stay we provide a 2009 Club Car Golf Cart with your Villa Rental. It is a quiet electric golf cart equipped with headlights/turn-signals and roll up side curtains for your comfort on an evening ride, or in the case of a rain shower. You will find that with the many scenic and well-marked golf cart trails that you will want to go everywhere in the Villages in your Golf Cart.
Our home is a short cart ride away from several executive golf courses and the Mallory Hill, Havana and Cane Garden country clubs with, pro shops and terrific dining. The Sabal Chase Recreational facilities are nearby with tennis, pickle ball, swimming pools and indoor activities. The town squares have nightly live entertainment, movie theaters and several restaurants and stores.
Shuttle service between The Villages and the Orlando Airport is available and must be scheduled in advance.
Deposit/Cleaning/Security fee: $750 fully refundable after departure if no damages/no excess cleaning required
Cancellation fee: 100% deposit refund up to 90 days prior to check-in. Within 90 days, no refund of deposit.

I stayed at the house from December 1- 31 2011 it was everything as advertised and the owners were very helpful with my mail problem. They went out of their way to solve it. The house was clean and close to everything. It has a very private backyard that I really enjoyed.

This place is a little gem. The home is very clean and very well equipped. The location is excellent...in the middle of golf options, close to some of the best Country Clubs for dining and a short cart drive to Sumpter Landing, for free music and cheap drinks every night. The owners were great. We had a minor problem with the cart and it was handled very quickly. The kitchen is a dream to work in and the beds and furniture very comfortable. We highly recommend this home and hope to be able to return ourselves in 2012.

My first monthly rental at the villages was a great experience. I love the villa and the location is convenient for just about every where anyone would want to get to. The amenities of this unit are quite nice, comfortable, and well appointed. Simply bring your clothes and enjoy.

Property for us was ideal location within easy walking distance to Lake Miona Center, Canal Street Rec Center and only about a mile to Lake Sumter Landing. Central location for getting to a majority of the golf courses in the Villages, WiFi connection a great help in accessing golf reservation site. New electric golf cart worked well. Kitchen appliances top rate, living room furniture was very comfortable, screened lanai a wonderful place to relax in the outdoor air. Although we didn't meet many neighbors on the street (too busy enjoying the opportunities) the ones we did speak with were extremely friendly and helpful. Judy and Corey provided notebook with helpful information about the Villages and surrounding area. Very gracious hosts - thanks for sharing your Florida home. Would recommend having Villages newspaper delivered while you are there. Steve and Debi
