Location and photos were accurately reflected in the property information. The view was exactly as we had expected and we were able to watch the whales every day. The lanai was great for people watching but the road was busy - but, this did not bother us much. The location is great as it is easy to get anywhere!! You don't have to drive to restaurants or beaches! Mike and Lynn were awesome to deal with and answered all our questions very promptly. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Lots of equipment which we used every day and that was appreciated. An update of the bathrooms and kitchen would be a nice feature! We snorkeled, boogie boarded, walked the beautiful beaches and just had an amazing time. We love Maui!! We only ate out 3 times - 808 (great), Mulligans (fun - Celtic band was playing the night we were there) and food was good and Five Palms (beautiful ambiance - we went at 8:00 and would go again for the Happy Hour special). Golfed 3 times - Makena (beautiful views, outstanding layout, great value), Wailea Emerald (perfectly manicured, great layout - but pricey) and Ellleair (noisy - wouldn't go back). We would definitely stay in this unit again. It would be a great unit for families!

We had a wonderful, relaxed vacation in this immaculate, very clean condo.The listing photos showed exactly what the condo is like. The condo was nicely decorated in Hawaiian theme, the beds were comfortable, linens and towels were of good quality and the kitchen was well equipped. We were pleased that beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkle equipment was left for our use as well. The view from the living room , dining room and lanai is great - especially at sunset !

Our Paradise!

We had the opportunity to take a vacation for six weeks to our paradise of Maui. It truly was the best view and every morning and evening we sat on the lanai and watched the sun and surf. Our condo was very well outfitted, clean and welcoming. The owner was very approachable with any questions we had before our trip and during. The lanai closet is well stocked with boogie boards, snorkels, beach chairs and an umbrella as well. I can't think of anything that we were in need of that wasn't there. The beds were very comfortable so of course I had to have a nap at some point during the day!!haha This condo is within walking distance to the little strip mall for incidentals and a couple of little pubs and other eateries are within walking distance as well. Moose McGillicuddy's was a favorite of ours. We also ate at the Chinese Restaurant just above the shops beside Denny's. My husband loved the buffet. Cafe O'Lei is also within walking distance and we had our Thanksgiving dinner there. It was superb. The condo grounds are immaculate and we were in the pool everyday when not at the beach. All in all I would not hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone. Thank you so much for making our vacation so special.

Best view of Maui for a Wedding

We had a great time at Best View of Maui while there for our son's Wedding. We loved sitting out on the lanai and watching the ocean and all the people having so much fun. We went snorkeling a lot and liked how close we were to everything. Thanks so much for letting us stay at your condo!!

Kehei Perfection!

This Condo is perfect. We had the pleasure of staying in the unit for 10 nights from July 28- Aug 6 2011. The view from the Lanai and the living area is all ocean as described. The condo is stocked with the all the basics you need for your stay and everything is laid out and easy to find. It is located directly across from the beach, where you can snorkel in the mornings, and surf the waves in the afternoons and it’s only a short stroll down Kehei Road to restaurants and shops. Sansei restaurant is a must try! Mike and Lynn are available to answer questions and have great advice about Maui. They make their home yours for the duration of your stay. Maui is perfection in so many ways that I’m sure we will be back and if we do have that pleasure we will stay at the Best View on Maui again!

BEST VACATION SO FAR!!!!!

My husband and I and our 2 adult kids spent 11 days in the "Best View on Maui" Condo complex in Kihei on Maui! We had an amazing time! I had never rented a condo before and will definately do this again. We had so much space to relax in - in between our constant adventures on the island of course. This unit has two full bedrooms with King beds- the upstairs has an on suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have airconditioning. The unit faces the ocean and the beach directly from large window in living area and the Lanai where we enjoyed our morning coffee. We would open the front door and back slider to the Lanai and the maui tradewinds kept us so cool and comfy! We were able to BBQ on nights we wanted to and otherwise eat out at all the fun little spots in Kihei. The condo grounds are so beautiful and well maintained with 2 pools too. This condo is perfect for families and although it says two bedrooms there is also a separate loft area with 2 twin beds and is set up as another room which my daughter enjoyed. The living room sofa also pulls out into a bed if needed although we did not need this. The Condo is equiped with washer/ dryer which we used too. The kitchen is fully equiped with all the comforts of home. It also has flat screen TV's and DVD player so a couple nights the kids ran up to the Foodland grocery store up the road and rented Redbox movies- nice! The Condo had boogie boards and beach chairs which we used daily at any of nearby beaches (Maluaka Beach was our favorite- hidden away down a road labeled dead-end just before Makena Beach- sits in front of a resort and has restrooms/ showers/ drinks for purchase/ and TURTLES). I just cannot say enough about the "Best View on Maui Condo"- and the owner was available and responded quickly to all of my questions. I encourage anyone interested in having space to move around in and wanting to be right at the beach on youyr vacation to rent this condo. Staying in this condo made me want to move to Maui! Oh- the condo had free internet too which came in handy as I am in a Masters program at this time and I could check into class during my vacation with ease! Awesome Condo- Awesome location. Our family had a great stay in Maui and loved your condo. It was wonderful to be so close to the beach and we thoroughly the view from the lanai - coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening to watch the sunset! The bedrooms were comfortable and we (two adults and two teenagers) had plenty of space to relax and just kick back between outings and activities. The location of the condo was ideal - close enough to all of the amenities in Kihei, yet out of the hustle and bustle. We also enjoyed the proximity to Wailea - great for an early morning run and our teenagers enjoyed the brand name shopping at The Shops at Wailea.

An amazing trip To Maui

The island is absolutely beautiful. The weather was perfect, and the condo was great. We had everything we needed for the beach right at our hands, and the beach is just a quick minute walk away. We enjoyed watching the whales from either the lanai, or the very large picture window. And the supplied binoculars were a welcome treat. We could take a short walk to local restaurants and shops. Mike was kind enough to check in with us midway thru our trip to make sure everything was going well, and that we didn’t have any problems or concerns. Overall, we couldn’t have been more pleased. I am sure that we or our friends will be staying at your condo in the future.

A Great Time

My family and I just returned from 3 weeks at the Hale Kamaole. (Jan. 28th to Feb 19th) The suite had everything it claimed to and more. The kitchen is well stocked and so is the deck room that had everything we needed for the beach. The best thing was sitting on the shaded deck in the morning drinking coffee and watching the whales out front. My parents are less mobile (almost 80yrs) but didn't have a problem with the stairs or the very short walk to the beautiful soft sandy beaches. There were huge shade trees at the beach for my parents and just large enough surf to keep my 12 year old daughter busy with boogie boarding without worrying about her. Coming from the country we did notice more road noise as the condo is on the street side of South Kehei Rd. The trade off though is this condo has more light from the huge windows than any of the other condos. We also had constant entertainment of the whales and incredible sunsets from the deck which is warm and sunny in the afternoon.There is always something to see in the park from the deck including watching parachutists land there! The condo is within easy walking distance of restaurants, malls and other beaches. Driving around Maui is really easy and there is plenty of parking in front of the condo so we didn't have to worry about our rental car. There are so many activities to do in Maui at this time of year but I'd highly recommend the whale watching and a trip up to the Haleakala Crater. On the one day that we had rain we drove to the aquarium. I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting an easy worry free vacation. Mike and Lynne have pretty much thought of everything including the king-sized beds that were very comfortable, lots of hangers for clothes in the closets and even a blow dryer in the bathroom!

This condo had every amenity that you would ever want. There were beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach cooler, boogie boards, snorkelling equipment also beach towles all supplied. The view from the lanai was fabulous. We sat and watched the sunset every night and we watched whales everyday. The inside of the condo was exactly as shown in the pictures and as described. The beds were comfortable and we slept well every night. There is noise from the road but it did not bother us. All in all it was a very memorable trip. Mike was very friendly and accommodating. The wireless hook up and free long distance calls were a bonus! We would rent this condo again and would love to return to Maui someday.

This unit is great and lives up to its billing. The view is spectacular especially at sunset. There were 4 adults staying here and there was plenty of room. The furnishings are comfortable and the interior is very "fresh". We liked the fact we could park right in front of the unit. It was a short walk across the street to Kam 3 beach. The location is within easy walking distance to many eateries in the area. One should be aware, as this is an end unit right on Kihei Road there may be more traffic noise than other units in the complex. While it did not bother us it may be concerning to others. The complex is well maintained and the Bar B Q's were super clean (you will need to have your own charcoal). .

My husband and I took our three daughters and my father-in-law to Maui for the first time and chose this location. It comfortably accommodated all of us although only the bedrooms have a/c so keep that in mind if you go during the summer or fall months. The full kitchen was well equipped and clean. Loved having the washer/dryer in the unit, especially with three kids! The view was amazing out the living room/dining room window and from the lanai. The beaches are a stones through from the condo and some of the best on Maui! Not many places offer such a wide variety of boogie boards, snorkels, fins, and masks either. You guys had it all! Would not hesitate to recommend this unit to everyone! Thanks Mike for making this trip such a success. We will definitely be returning to Kihei! Mahola!

Mike, We had the pleasure of staying at "the best view on Maui" earlier this month (October 2010). I have to admit, I was one of those people that did not see the allure of Hawaii but your place changed my mind! Maui is wonderful place and your place made the experience wonderful. The location (South Kihei) and the amenities (the place had everything we wanted) not only contributed to the great time we had but also convinced me we would be back at the "the best view on Maui" for a family vacation! The beach is literally 90 seconds from the door with great swimming and snorkeling, great restaurants (808 cafe for one)a few minutes walk and everything else close at hand. We will be back and "the best view on Maui" is one of those places we want friends about!

We really had a amazing time and impressed how clean, well equipped and fantastic location your condo is! We enjoyed having breakfast and watching sun goes down at lanai a lot. I really think that it was great choice to stay at your condo for honeymoon,much worthy rather than staying at a expensive hotel.It was exactly the vest view on Maui. 180 degree view of the Ocean and West Maui Mountains, and literally right across the road from the beach! This condo is exactly what you see in the photos and has great amenities for the kitchen and for the beach. We stopped at Costco (right around the corner from the airport and car rental) to stock up on food for the week and were pleased to find that the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals in. There's a great community grill close by on the lawn as well. The condo has boogie boards, a wake board, snorkel gear, beach mats and chairs and toys for young children. It was very clean and well maintained. Mike and Lynn were friendly on the phone and responded very quickly to my emails. We look forward to renting this condo again! The condo is also close to shopping, and we were so close to our snorkel tour location that we just walked over. Snorkeling is also great right across the street at Kamaole Beach 3 - Just walk into the ocean and put your face in. The condo's office was also very helpful in answering questions about activities and getting us tennis balls. This condo is a lot of bang for your buck. Mike even called us after our return to make sure the condo was in good repair and that we enjoyed our stay.

A Dream Vacation

We so enjoyed our stay at unit 201 in August 2010. The condo was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed-Beach towels & chairs, ample kitchen supplies & sleeping accommodations that comfortably housed 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we loved enjoying our morning coffee & the sunsets from there. The condo is so convenient to the beach and the town. We loved walking out to the rocks just before sunset to watch the turtles come in to eat. Although we only used the grilling facilities a couple of times, they were a great convenience-(also very clean). The "grillers" trade stories and advice on things to do in Maui. One night we even had a guitarist playing while we cooked. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone coming to Maui. The owner, Mike, was very prompt in replying to any e-mails we sent and keeps the place up wonderfully.

What an amazing vacation my husband, myself and our two children had at Hale Kamaole condo's, there is no doubt that "The best view on Maui" condo really was exactly that, the location fantastic, my son LOVED the pool, we always started our mornings early at the beach right across the street, ended our days at the pool and a whole barrel of activites inbetween! My husband enjoyed his morning runs, while I enjoyed the view with my Kona coffee, pure bliss :) Our condo was clean, very spacious and had everything we could possible need for our vacation including beach towels! and all you would want for a day at the beach! Thank you Thank you for helping our trip be one to remember for a lifetime!!

My family and I had a great time at the Hale Kamaole condo. It was a vacation of a lifetime. My wife and I have four children ranging in age from 8 to 18. The condo was just as the pictures and description showed. The condo had clean, comfortable beds for all of us which was great. The views from the condo are truly spectacular. The location was very convenient. Each morning we walked across the street and then enjoyed our morning coffee while walking on the quiet beaches. While there is a great beach across the street, we also loved visiting the other beaches along South Maui that were within a 5-15 minute drive. We were pleasantly surprised by the property's clean, refreshing pool and grilling area. The 4 massive built-in charcoal grills were sparkling clean and ready for us to light our charcoal. We would definitely rent this condo again. Our next trip will be in the winter when we can watch the whales.

We spent a fantastic 8 nights at this condo over Spring Break 2010. We had been recommended Hale Kamaole by a friend and found various units on the web to choose from - many of them have brand new kitchens and bathrooms which were tempting, but we decided to go for the view and are so glad we did! The unit has everything you could need (like coffee maker, smoothie blender, beach equipment) and the mattresses and bedding have been recently replaced, and being able to sit watching whales breach while drinking my morning coffee was something I would not have traded!! I had some concerns before going being so close to the road (noise levels) and whilst I would have to say it is quite a busy road, the view disrracts you from really noticing it. I found that Mike (owner) repsonded very quickly and honestly to all my questions on the property before I booked, and the photos are a very accurate representation of the condo.

We had a wonderful month-long stay in Unit 201. The view of the ocean was spectacular and easy access to the three beaches was great. The whale watching from the lanai was the best. Every day we would see many whales. Being it is a second floor, corner unit the added side view was very nice. We could eat breakfast and whale watch! The location is such that it is walking distance to several eating establishments and a shopping center. You do need a car to get around the rest of the island. The unit which easily sleeps six was perfect as our sons, spouses and children (2) each came for eight day stays and we didn't feel as if we were on top of each other. All the appliances worked well and beds were very comfortable. Be sure to check the lanai closet for boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, etc. before heading out to purchase these items. I can only say we had a wonderful time and would love to have a replay in the future. We have stayed in Kihei five times, the previous time in unit 202. This was by far the best view.

This condo really does have the Best View on Maui! I tried to rent it years ago but it was not available until Mike and Lynn bought it. What a treat to finally get it. It's proximity to the beach and the pool; the fantastic sunsets from the lanai; and the long morning and evening walks on the three beaches, are what will get me through the long winter here in Northern Canada. I will definitely be back. My goal is to spend two to three months a year in Maui -- my favourite place on Earth. Thanks

Today's our last day here at The Best View on Maui, and we will be sad to go! The view from this condo is truly spectacular, we've seen whales every day and love the afternoon sun on the lanai.
