Enjoy one of the nicest locations and cabins in the Lake Almanor Country Club. Newly renovated, this cabin provides a comfortable place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains, as well as the pursuit of summer lake activities. A real log cabin with all the modern conveniences. Two bedrooms with queen beds and one with two singles, plus two devans. Located just above the sandy beach of REC-1, so you can sit on the deck and watch or run down for a quick, refreshing dip in the cove.
A canoe is available to use for a early-morning paddle on a glassy-smooth lake. If you don't bring your own boat, you can rent a ski-boat or platform boat from one of the resorts just outside Peninsula Gate. Or you can walk down the lake road to the park and enjoy tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, or many organized activities of the Club - including Sunday evening summer concerts. Walking to the "point" of the peninsula is a daily pass-time of residents and visitors, taking in the dramatic views of the Lake and Mount Lassen. Or, take a day to golf at the Country Club course, or hike some of the most beautiful mountain trails in and around Lassen Park and along the Pacific Crest Trail.
Many weekends see craft fairs in Chester or at the Club. Eat out at one of the many area restaurants or just barbecue on the deck as the sun goes down, and enjoy a dinner by candle-light, as the moon rises over the Lake.

$300 deposit to be refunded 14 days after stay.

Rental Week - Arrive Saturday 3pm or later - Depart Saturday 11am.
