Location: Hansville, Puget Sound North, Puget Sound, Washington State, USA (One Hour Northwest of Seattle, Across Puget Sound ) View Map
Accommodations: Farmhouse, 5 Bedrooms + Convertible Bed(s), 3 Baths (Sleeps 10-14)
Enjoy this classic farmhouse as a weekend getaway from the hustle & bustle of the city. Or spend an entire vacation here, taking in the charm of old-fashion country living.
At Milky Way Farm you can enjoy vacation getaways, romantic escapes, and retreats. It is perfect for small weddings, family get-togethers, reunions, honeymoons and meetings.
The Milky Way Farm was homesteaded before Washington became a state. It has historically been a working dairy, and as the owners since 1982, we still keep dairy cows.
Spend private time sitting by the pond, listening to the melodic sounds from the stream as it gently passes the Guest House, enjoying the country scenery from the wrap around porch, or reading one of the many books from our well-stocked library.
Just a short trip from the city, yet a world away from daily stress.

We had a fantastic weekend at the farmhouse. While only a short distance from Seattle the setting feels like you are far out in the country, which in fact you are. The house has a very well stocked kitchen and huge covered porch for watching the sun go down or enjoying the morning coffee. Any one of the 5 bedrooms in the house are guaranteed to please even the most selective travelers. Fresh eggs, milk, bread and OJ were provided by the owners. We really enjoyed the view out the kitchen windows to the pastures and fruit trees. Feeding the trout in the pond was great fun as was perusing the selection of books available in the living room bookshelves. We will definitely return.

Though a short distance away from our home, it seemed a world away. A warm and relaxing atmosphere with everything we needed readily available. Wonderful walking on the numerous trails in the area, the morning greeting of the cows and smooth running of the stream. It was a perfect spot to reset the body and mind going into a new year. Great for anyone looking for somewhere to unwind, and your pets will love it too!

Our extended family stayed at this lovely farmhouse for a long weekend during a family reunion. I could not have imagined a more perfect place to stay. It's hard to put into words how peaceful and tranquil this place is. Every room is beautifully decorated--charming and comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous and views are out of a painting. I have never been to a rental that has been as well equipped as this one. Everything that we needed was there, and it was immaculately cared for. Our 2 year old loved feeding the rainbow trout in the pond. The owners are hospitable and kind and allow you to observe and participate in any of the farm activities. I can't recommend this place enough.

We had a family reunion in Hansville last week end and my parents, my sister and her family and I traveled from Montana and California to stay in this house. We were immediately charmed when we arrived, and were further impressed the longer we stayed. I have never seen such beautiful craftsmanship on a home. All of the rooms were perfectly decorated to suit the house, the kitchen was better equipped than mine at home, even the old Victora worked, and the pond was full of the biggest rainbow trout I have ever seen. We are all looking forward to coming back to this beautiful place soon.
