A magical and romantic property with creekside setting. Approximately 20-30 minutes from Lake Tahoe, 10 minutes to Donner Lake, 40 minutes to Reno, Nevada. 3 beds, 2.5 baths, media room, attached garage. Custom home built in 2005 with “green” materials.

Skiing at Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley, Sugar Bowl is approximately 30 minutes (usually less). Reno, Nevada and the casinos are about 40 minutes away.

Why the Owner Chose Tahoe Donner
I built this house in 2005 to take advantage of the creekside location. The sound of the creek lulls you to sleep at night and the gentle rustling of the aspens in the day adds to the serene setting. There are acres of greenbelt with hiking/biking trails just across the creek. Tahoe Donner has so many amenities to offer: it's a virtual smorgasboard of fun!
The Unique Benefits at this House
This home is insulated concrete form construction, so it can be very, very quiet--unless you want to open the doors and windows and hear the gentle sound of the creek. Great hiking and biking trails, close to the ski hill and other amenities: golf course, tennis court, equestrian center, rec center with pools, hot tubs, weight and aerobics rooms. One bedroom is set-up as a full-scale office (fax/wireless/printer) in case you need to "do a little" work while you're on vacation. It's also a great test property to see how much you might like to have your own vacation home!
