OUR VACATION AT SUMMERPLACE WAS EXCELLENT. THE OWNERS WERE VERY RESPONSIVE IN GETTING US IN ON VERY SHORT NOTICE. THE UNIT WAS IN GREAT CONDITION, THE VIEWS WERE SPECTACULAR. THE EXTRAS, BEACH CHAIRS, TOWELS, CLEANING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. THE BEACH WAS WONDERFUL, AND KEPT CLEAN EVERY MORNING. WE'D LIKE TO HAVE A RETURN VISIT NEXT YEAR.

My family had a wonderful time. We are repeat guests there and will definitely return again. The location is great with only a very short walk out the door to either of the two pools, hot tub or to the beach. The unit is clean, very well kept and very nicely appointed. All the conveniences are provided, including seasonal beach chair/umbrella service. The owners are so kind to even leave several beach towels for use as well as beach toys for the small kids along with a couple of booster seats for the small ones' meal times. The owners are so accomodating to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your vacation. My family are already looking forward to their return there next year!

Our week long vacation stay in this condo exceeded every expectation of our group of friends and our/their kids (ages 1-5yrs old). From the moment we opened the front door, everything was clean, organized, homey, and felt like it was thoughtfully decorated. There was nothing that we needed that was not provided, with exception of the obvious (toilet paper, paper towels, etc). The owners of the condo have available for use of the renters in-unit laundry machines, beach towels, beach chairs, and the beach toys are a nice touch for those with kids. This definitely alleviated some packing and running around to the local stores. There are grocery stores close by for packing the fridge with food and tasty cocktails. Our group used the BBQ grills that are on the property, and ate some casual meals out both in Fort Walton Beach and some in Destin (a very short drive away). This unit is truly steps away from the beach, and it was awesome having the option of being at the pool or on the beach within a matter of seconds. The programmable front door lock makes entry into the unit effortless and it was so nice not having to worry about keys while at the beach/pool. A few of us in the group drove to Pensacola for the US Navy Blue Angels air-show practice session. This is a must-see if this kind of thing is of interest to you at all. It was so enjoyable! The owners of the unit are a pleasure to deal with and it was comforting knowing that they were available if we needed anything. All in all, we can't say enough about how nice the unit is, how breathtaking the views are, how family friendly the beach/pool is, and what an enjoyable time we had while staying here!

The listing and photos were extremely accurate, and the condo was clean and well-maintained. The owners were very helpful getting our stay organized and we had no problems. I would absolutely recommend this property to friends and relatives. It is a beautiful condo that had everything we could possibly want. The washer/dryer came in so handy, it was great having dry towels for the beach every day. The drive into Pensacola to watch the Blue Angels practice is well worth it. We spent a lot of our time in the pool or on the beach, our 2 and 5 year old daughters loved being able to swim all week. This was a fantastic vacation and we hope to return some day.

Our family recently stayed here for our summer vacation. The condo is so clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Our girls enjoyed the games and beach toys that are provided in the condo. The view is incredible! It is so nice to be able to walk just a few feet to the beach. Denise, the owner, is helpful and easy to work with. We are looking forward to coming back and would definitely recommend this condo!

My husband and I escaped a cold midwest Spring to spend a week here the first week of May. The condo looks EXACTLY like the photos; absolutely the most well-stocked and cleanest condo we've ever stayed in. A wonderful vacation for whatever you're looking for. You can stay as busy as you want - venture out to shop, sight-see, visit other beaches - or choose to do nothing but lounge at the beautiful beach in your front yard. Highly recommend this lovely condo and Denise & Jack who are helpful, knowledgeable owners.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful week at Summer Place. Denise and Jack could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The condo was very clean with everything necessary to make yourself at home. Not only was the condo excellent, the grounds and pool area were extremely well groomed. Leave a light on for us because we will be back.

We really liked the condo and the location. You can walk across the street to Fudpuckers (if you like fried everything) or walk a couple more feet to Old Bay Steamer for some excellent (non fried) seafood (get the King Crab). A short walk down the beach to Anglers (restaurant) and the pier also results in some good food and spirits. For a bit of local dining, walk behind Fudpuckers and visit the restaurant on the bay (I forget the name but the drink specials are hard to beat). We usually stay at the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort just down the beach but the wife is now hooked on the condo stay instead. You give up the "in house" bar but you also get to give up the very narrow balcony with that screaming air conditioner blowing hot air on you while you try to enjoy the balcony and view. We spend a lot of time on the balcony. This condo is centered in the building so one can see everything from the balcony (which has table and chairs) and it is high enough so one gets a great view of the Gulf. I definitely recommend SummerPlace and this condo. And there was not a drop of oil as far as we could tell. And BP sets up a tent and pays workers to sit around just in case they need to do some cleaning. From what I could tell, that has to be a great gig for the summer as Ft. Walton/Destin beaches are still as white as ever. Oh, and with this condo, unlike some others at SummerPlace, the beach chair/umbrella setup is complimentary. What more can you ask for?

We are just finishing up a week stay at unit 406 in Summer Place. Despite our worries about the gulf, the beaches perfect. The unit worked great for our family stay - very good for those traveling with little ones! Our days have been spent enjoying the beach and pool. Denise was great to work with updates and was flexible with our reservation should there have been any impact to the area. For the unit, we love the keyless lock, the HD tv, beautiful beach views and all the extras (beach toys/towels/chairs, movies & games, slow cooker, etc.). There are also lots of great restaurants just a short walk down the beach if you don't want to hop in the car. Hope you consider a trip to the area this summer to help support the local merchants and condo owners! "

My husband and I stood at summer home with our friends for the first time. It was a great place. Not only was the room clean and spacious, but it had everything you needed to feel like your at home. Balcony had a great view of the pool and ocean. Perfect vacation for everyone we traveled with. Would highly recommend this condo. You won't be disappointed.

Me and my family had a wonderful stay at Summerplace 406. I would recommend it to anyone. The condo was well equipped with everything you would need. The view of the beach was awesome! We were there for five days and it was not fun when we all had to say goodbye our last day. We will go back! We made so many wondreful memories there. There is so much to do in Ft. Walton. Too many awesome places to eat to name. You should go! You will not regret it!!!

AWESOME! BREATHTKING! Those were the first words out of our families' mouth. The condo was super clean and had extras that we forgot such as family games, grilling supplies and even had my daughter's favorite blender for those beach drinks. We had a beautiful week whether it was at the beach, relaxing by the pool or just catching up on some rest in the condo. My family and I can't wait to come back!

This condo is so comfortable and so well organized. The decor is stylish and in great condition. The HD TV, beach chairs, and beach toys are thoughtful extras that were well appreciated. The mattresses and furniture were very comfortable and the unit was extremely clean. Denise is so pleasant and helpful and was a pleasure to work with when booking the condo. The beachfront view is fantastic. A lot of personal care and pride has gone into this unit and we absolutely loved it. We will be back.

We have stayed at this complex 6 years in a row and love the location and amenities. We have stayed in several different units at Summerplace. This unit is decorated beautifully and has everything you need to enjoy your beach vacation! The owners made it very easy to make our last minute vacation a success. I love the keyless entry to the condo-no lost keys or digging in your beach bag to find them. The HD T.V. is awesome to watch after a long day out at the beach or pool. We hope We can come back again!

This unit at Summer Place was great! Everything was as described online and in excellent condition and very clean. Denise (the owner) was super helpful and responded via email or phone in a timely manner. The unit is located close to many great restaurants and shopping not to mention just walking out the door to the beach! This was our first family vacation to the beach and it could not have been any better. All the amenities of home are right there. I loved the fact that we did not have to worry about room keys as there is a punch code lock on the unit. This was great as we have 6 kids and we all could come and go as we pleased. 8 of us used this unit and we had plenty of room and hot water! I would recommend this unit at Summer Place to all considering the Ft. Walton area.
