We were very spoiled by the HUGE TV on the wall opposite the king bed, and the ocean view! The condo was very clean and well decorated - got much more than we expected for the price. The owners "welcome book" with menus and suggested activities helped us make good choices. The warm swimming pool was wonderful in January, and the huge jacuzzi hot tub with ocean view was amazing!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Owner response: Our goal is to maintain a comfortable, but affordable beach getaway. I am really proud of the oversized 42" wall-mounted TV that Terry installed on our last visit. A Fabulous Vacation Resort

My friend and I stayed at Origin for a week in June, and we absolutely loved it! The condo itself was very warm, comfortable and inviting. The cleanliness, new tile, and general upkeep certainly contributed to that atmosphere. The listing description was accurate...the appearance was even more beautiful than they described and amenities were very nice. We flew in and did not rent a car because we planned to spend most of our time on the beach. However, we did decide to tour and view the sites, and used the bus transportation. It was great - bus came by every 30 minutes and it was also economical. We traveled to various restaurants, but our favorite was right across the street - Sharkeys. I am a "karaoke nut" so we were there every Monday and Wednesday. Other restaurants were also within walking distance, or we took the bus. The view was absolutely breath-taking, so be sure to ride the elevator to the floor where you can watch the sunrise or sunset. Ocean view was also fantastic! Many mornings I sat on the balcony and enjoyed the peace & tranquility that I feel when I am near the ocean. It was nice to have such a short walk to the ocean where we could soak up the sun, and we also enjoyed the pool because it was so convenient. I have recommended Origin to all of my family and friends, and hope that others enjoy their stay as much as we did!

"My wife and I toured a lot of the other condos today and none were as nice as this (Origin). And and they were a LOT more expensive." I overheard this comment at the pool today, and could not agree more. On January 19 one of the largest real estate management groups on the beach held an open house tour of their condos, giving winter guests an opportunity see inside several condos in each complex. I am lucky enough to be a snowbird/owner this year, and was happy to get back to Origin 609!

Just back in sunny but cold Ohio I was very sorry to leave the warm and friendly PCB area. Stayed a week in Sharon's studio and it was just as described, clean, well decorated and laid out. View from room and pool deck is wonderful. Hot tub is super. Sharon was most helpful as was staff at Origin. Hope to visit again and will definately stay at Origin.

I wanted to touch base with you since we have returned from the trip to Florida. The weather was beautiful as so were the beaches. There is no oil to be found in the area anywhere. We loved the condo and its location. You have it decorated so cute and the notebook you put together is so helpful. We used the towel service and the pool and you are so lucky to have the ice machine located close to your room. The walk to the beach was simple and we spent lots of time on the beach. I found a broom in the closet to sweep up what sand seemed to find its way into the condo. We had a great time and a beautiful wedding and each night we relaxed and watched the sun set from the balcony.

Recommended for: Romantic getaway

We had a great time staying at The Origin. We had never stayed in a condo before and this was beautiful, we felt like we were at home. The area was great! We had friends staying beach front across the street from us and their condos were not half as nice as The Origin. Sharon was very, very nice and helped me greatly! The condo was beautiful, employees friendly and we liked the location. We would hesitate to return to Origin at Seahaven because of the wait for an elevator. A service elevator is definitely needed. We found it frustrating to wait for 5-10 minutes for an elevator filled to capacity with housekeeping carts. One employee stopped the elevator at each floor to clean the landing. Our unit was on the 13th floor so using the stairs wasn't feasible when carrying luggage, coolers or beach chairs.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Great Location!

While my husband was on a bachelor's party fishing trip in Cape San Blas, I was able to have a relaxing Memorial Day "girls weekend" at Origin. It was fantastic. The room was so spacious and the view was great. We basically just rotated between the beach (which is right across the street), Sharkey's (a restaurant right on the beach, just in front of the hotel) and the pool/hot tub which was high above the street and great for watching sunsets. No need to go anywhere else! Additional perks - kitchenette, parking right below the hotel (with elevator access), along with the towel service for room and pool. We had worried a little bit about the oil spill but were confident in reserving this space after talking with Sharon. She walked me through everything on the phone and even gave me tips on what to pack. So gracious! Thank you for everything - we hope to visit again down the road.

Wonderful Experience

I travel alot, so I know quality.....1429 is quality. Arriving in late May 2010, we were greeted by a very friendly, helpful staff. The little theatre room was an added bonus; I saw movies almost everyday. Our condo was clean and spacious. The 'non-view' room had a wonderful view of the ocean and early morning sunrise. Although we could not get our hands on a luggage cart coming or going, we were close enough to the elevators to make do. Another plus is the Condos are conveniently located in the middle of everything. And I love the covered parking. The beach was clean and perfect for us. Sharon tried so hard to please, and we were definitely not dissappointed. We will be going back to PC, and we have decided that this is where we will stay....everytime.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Sharron thanks for setting us up with two great rooms they were everything you had described them to be. i will for sure be getting back with you next time i am in panama city.. Only problem was is the pool was out of order but i can understand it was broke and they said it was on order to be fixed just my luck i guess.. Anyway thanks for a great set up .. larry

An Enjoyable Trip

We stayed at the Orgin in April 2010 - in one of the Studio + units - the room was great! Clean and a nice size for just the two of us. We only stayed a few days and spent the majority of the time on the beach, which really wasn't a problem to get to, even with the traffic and crossing the street. We never went to the pool but all of the areas we did see were just as described and pictured on the web. The only downside (and for someone who has never been to PCB before, my boyfriend didnt mind it all) was that the front doors of the units exit to an interior hall instead of directly outside, but the price was right and Sharon was super helpful in getting everything arranged and giving us lots of tips on what to bring and what we didnt need to lug around. We had a super time and would definitely stay there again.

Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Owner response: We LOVE our exquisite dark, rich, African Mahogany doors that grace the entry of our condos, and the carpeted and climate controlled (cool air in the summer, and warm in the winter) inside corridors that lead to our doors! This is one of the many amenities that sets us apart from the other condos up and down the beach! Your are in a secure and upscale setting - protected from the elements provided by Mother Nature while you transition from the beach to your condo! I love the luxury of stepping inside to the comfort of the air-conditioned hallways! If you crave more of the great outdoors, just step onto the private balcony that 609/ 809 has to offer, pour yourself a cool one, recline on the lounge chair, and enjoy! My overall experience at the Origin was great. When I checked in, I was actually given a different room that the one I had booked. Therefore I really cannot comment on the actual condo unit, but the property was amazing. Sharon was very helpful on the phone when I booked the room, and gave me great advise on what I was interested in. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to return soon.

Owner response: We can never guarantee a specific condo, but most times the room that is assigned is the one I hand-picked to meet your requests. When a condo is not available due to a maintenance issue, or an extended stay requested by the previous guest, it becomes necessary to assign you to a unit other than the one that was originally assigned...in the same rate category. Or if there were none it that category you would be upgraded. For example, if you had reserved a studio oceanview, and none were available, you would get a one bedroom condo for the same rate! This is a GOOD THING!

Owner response: SOMETHING NEW! Origin 609 & 809 now have brand new CHAISE LOUNGES on the balcony. There are plenty of chairs and chaise lounges around the pool but to my knowledge 609 & 809 are the ONLY units where you can LAYOUT IN THE SUN and/or TAKE A NAP on a chaise at your private balcony at Origin! All balconies have 2 chairs and a small table, but the addition of the chaise is something I will personally enjoy EVERY CHANCE I GET! RELAX, RELAX, RELAX!

Hey Sharon, We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. I took my daughter and 3 of her friends for her birthday and they thought they were royalty when they walked in the room. We were in room 1705, on the top!! Thanks for putting us in a great room and for helping to make her birthday special. I highly recommend "Towne of Seahaven" for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Panama City. The room was GREAT and there was nothing else we could have asked for. Sure beats a motel room anyday, no comparison. Hope to visit again soon. Thanks again!!!

We recently stayed in condo 809 for a long week-end break (October 09). We were very pleased with the condo. Was exactly as described by Sharon. Very nice view from balcony, bed was extremely comfortable, clean & nicely furnished. Very good bargain for the off season rate. View from top sunrise deck was absolutely beautiful. Don't understand why Origin did not furnish it with chairs/tables so you could at least sit and enjoy the view. The only suggestion we would have is there are no drawers in the room for clothes or a place to put the suitcase. This was not a problem for us, but if we had been staying longer it would have been. We would definitely recommend this condo and hope to visit again soon. Ron & Gail (Georgia)

Hello Sharon, We stayed at Origin in September 2009. Originally it was going to be My husband and myself and our foster child, and you were so helpful with booking your condo. Then our plans changed and we needed a larger room so we changed our room size. I must say that initially i was skeptical about what this place was like because normally things are different in person than what you see on the internet. NOT the case here!! This place was so beautiful and the view was far more than we could have hoped for!!!!!! The room was AWSOME!!! The 2 bedroom was perfect for us. The pool was so beautiful that we didn't even want to go to the beach(but the babies did).We were there during BIKE Week and it was still awsome. We had no problems what so ever and will reccomend this place to everyone(we have already told everyone).My sons were ther also with their wives and children but were staying at places on the beach, as soon as the came to see our room they wanted to stay with us! My husband is very very funny about staying away from home, and he alredy wants to go back. He said he will never stay anywhere else and believe me we have stayed everywhere in PC. This place is by far our favorite!!!!! We definately got our moneys worth and then some! For anyone reading this, you will not be disappointed! We spent a week at Seahaven for our honeymoon in July, and we were extremely pleased with our room. We appreciated all of Sharon's help in arranging our stay! We loved the close proximity to Sharkys and other tourist attractions. We were a little nervous about not having a condo right on the beach, but the view was still gorgeous and our room was well worth it. Our only complaint was that we had one room confirmed before arrival, but once we checked in our room had been changed. Sharon, thank you so much for being an absolute pleasure to work with. You helped our honeymoon be nothing short of amazing!!

We were happy to hear that you were extremely pleased with your room, even though it was not the one you were originally assigned to. That is the one advantage that we can offer that others cannot. If we were not on Origin's management program and our condo became unavailable due to faulty a/c, plumbing, maintenance issues, etc., we would have to refund your money or try to find something else for you at the last minute. At Origin, you will receive a comparable room or be given an upgrade, such as a one or two bedroom if that is all that is available. Keeping happy guests is what this is all about, because they will return year after year, and tell others about their wonderful Origin experience too! Hi! We stayed in your wonderful condo for the July 4th weekend. The condo is so comfortable and we really enjoyed watching the fireworks from the balcony of our room. We hope to stay there again this December. We highly recommend this condo and the great experience with the owners. Thanks!

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Orgin!!! Beach access was great and the condo was roomy and very clean. My kids loved the balcony! We also very much enjoyed the movie theater downstairs in the lobby. We watched movies on days when it rained. The great restaurant Sharkeys delivers room service, too! A great and enjoyable stay!!!!

We ejoyed our stay so much at Origin. We stayed in room 809. Everything was perfect and the location was great. Sharon was also very easy to deal with and was very patient to answer all of my questions. We look forward to staying again very soon!!!

We had a wonderful time in Seahaven. Sharon was wonderful to work with and was very honest about room 1409. It had a wonderful view and the king size bed was to die for. The pull out couch was another story, but we made due and I made a big pallet on the floor for my kids with pillows and blankets. I do wish, however, the staff at the origin was more knowledgeable. Many did not know about the kids' activities they could only hand out a sheet of paper that said when they were happening and where (at Sharkys). They did not monitor smoking habits around the pool and unfortunately we learned the first week of June is not the best time to go b/c of so many young adults at Origin. Overall we moved when people smoked and called sercurity when the parting was too loud. We would stay there again, just change the time frame. Thanks Sharon, Mike loved taking all 500 and something pics from the room...

We were very please with our stay at Origin and we had great time. I will definitely recommend this place to our friends. The owner was extremely nice during the booking process and actually she went an extra mile to make sure that we were able to check in before 4pm if we arrived earlier (we were traveling along with our baby girl). We really appreciated that. For overall experience I rate it 5 stars out of 5. Have a nice vacation!

This is a GREAT unit!! Very nicely decorated and had everything that we needed! I have stayed at ALOT of places in Panama city because i used to live so close and this is one of my new favorites!! The grounds are beautiful, the location is Amazing and everything is new! You cant beat the prices and Sharon is WonderFul to work with! She made our stay so easy and comfortable! We had 4 girls stay for the week and we all fit VERY comfortably. I would recommend this unit to anyone! The pool is beautiful and very easy to get to and the beach is right there!! There is a parking garage that is attached to the condominiun building so it makes parking SO easy! I will definately rent here again in the future and i would suggest you do the same!

My husband and I wanted a romantic weekend getaway, and Origins proved to be the perfect choice! The pool and hot tub terrace is very upscale with a view of the ocean that is to die for. The unit is very nice; much nicer than the price paid indicates. This a four star condo at a two star price! Best deal in PCB, we'll be back often!
