Just off the large private pool sits the cabana room "tiki bar" w/refrig., sink, stereo, etc. Also downstairs are the enclosed outdoor shower, outdoor bathroom accessible from pool area, hammock, grilling area & util. room w/laundry & utility sink. Your choice of newspaper will be delivered to your door each morning compliments of homeowner.
The house is located on the 5th Mile Post on the border of Kill Devil Hills and Kitty Hawk in a very quiet soundside year-round neighborhood. With such a central location everything is very close. You walk to the “locals favorite” Henry’s Seafood Restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as the “Grass Course” Putt Putt. Both are only two blocks away.
Sound access is a short walk & many ocean accesses with ample parking are available within minutes. A beautiful soundside nature trail, parks & boat accesses (bring your kayaks) are all nearby & waiting to be explored. A brand new first class boat ramp is just down Bay Drive from the house. Convenient access and excellent cruising are literally right around the corner.
The house is stocked with plenty of literature, brochures and maps that will help you maximize your options. Explore the wonders of the Outer Banks..take a ride up the beach to see the wild horses, deep sea fishing charters are close by at Pirates Cove, Oregon Inlet and Hatteras Inlet, run up the sand dunes at Jockey's Ridge, and at the end of the day enjoy a beautiful Outer Banks sunset.
