Welcome to our beautiful lakefront home, located in the Cove Pointe area of Big Creek. This house is just a short boat ride to either Sequoyah or Whitman Hollow Marinas. There is a boat launch nearby. Located in a quiet, no-wake cove just off the main channel, it features a 2-level dock with an upper sundeck, 1 covered boat slip, one jet-port, and additional room for another boat tied to the side. We have year-around water, so low lake levels are not a problem. There is off-street parking, a concrete drive (rather steep), as well as some additional on-street parking.
Don't own a boat - no problem! There is a pontoon boat available for rent in our cove as well as boat rentals at nearby Whitman Hollow Marina.
This house has sleeping accommodations for up to 14. The main level features a master bedroom, full bath, and a second bedroom with a queen bed and a double bed (perfect for a small family!). The large, welcoming great room is the perfect place to enjoy an indoor fire, watch TV, or dine with the group. The great room includes a kitchen, comfortable living area, and a dining area with a panoramic view. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of natural light and a peaceful view of the water below. A screened in porch, just off the great room, allows outdoor enjoyment without insects.
The lower level provides space and comfort. There is a double bed, in an alcove, as well as 2 queen sleeper sofas. For entertainment, check out the 32" flat-screen tv, with a DVD player.
There is a second wood-burning fireplace with insert. This level features a large deluxe bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a dual head shower. This level also includes a wall of windows facing the lake.
For those who want to go on vacation without being totally out of touch with the world, this home includes wireless, high-speed internet, as well as satellite DirecTV. There is an upper deck, offering a 6-seat patio table and a large gas grill, and a lower deck, providing plenty of space for sunning, relaxing, or just enjoying the view.

We love this lake and the scenery surrounding it. The mountain setting in Eastern Tennessee is a relaxing change from our hectic, day-to-day lives. The lake is a water-sports lovers' haven. Miles and miles of beautiful scenery and smooth, clear water invite you.
The Unique Benefits at this Lakefront Home
Located on a quiet cove, this home allows easy access to water sports while providing a secluded setting. Due it it's location in the cove, there is little or no other boat traffic, which is a great atmosphere for families. It is located approximately 30 minutes from I-75, exit 134, about 1 hour from Knoxville and about 1 1/2 hours from Pigeon Forge.

We are a farming family from West-Central Ohio. Jan runs a cash-grain operation, as well as an auction and real estate business. Cindy works for the City of Kenton.
