This place had a great location close to the Aquarium, Coca-Cola Museum, Children's Museum, and Centennial Park. As far as the apartment itself, we spent a lot of time in the beautiful screened-in porch which had great views of the downtown area. We really appreciated all the communication from the owner who was very helpful when we asked questions about our upcoming trip.

This apt was close to every thing but there was six of us and the sofa couch slept like one, and we had two cars so one of us had to get up every morning at 5:45 and race down to pay for parking otherwise we would have gotten a boot put on our car. The other party that was with me got the included parking pass so they didn't have this trouble . Pizza creamer, coffee and a bottle of wine and beer was all included in our stay. I was a wonderful thought as were the fresh cut roses in every room.

This condo was really a fabulous place to enjoy the city, accessible to everything and the owners anticipated every possible need. I will be recommending the Aquarium as a great place to visit and also telling my friends that I know the perfect place to stay when visiting it!! If we ever visit Atlanta again, we will stay here!

The condo was excellent a real bargain for a large city - a great location but the best part was the owners . Wow fresh flowers- soft drinks or beer -wine the kindness to call the cable company for us when the internet was not working properly and getting us right on line.... The friendly concierge... So nice so southern .....We never used the car / just park in back take the subway or bus very easy.....walk to aquarium which is top notch or cnn and world of coke walk to restaurants hard rock or sit on the screened porch and watch the city light up ..... Thank you for a great trip to Atlanta !

I rented this condo for my daughter and her friends during Spring Break. My interactions with the owner, Susan, were very pleasant. Here is whay my daughter had to say about their stay: A few friends and I stayed in the condo for a several nights and had a great stay. The location is perfect with so much to do within walking distance, making everything so much easier not having to navigate and search or pay for parking. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. It was great to have a full kitchen, which allowed us to save money by cooking instead of eating out all of the time. We also really enjoyed being able to sit outside on the porch and relax, while enjoying the beautiful weather and view of the city. Overall, we had a wonderful time and Susan and Bill were incredibly helpful and hospitable through it all, providing us with directions and pizza, snacks, and beverages upon our arrival. We couldn't have found better accommodations.

Cant thank Bill and Susan enough for their great hospitality. They were very good about working with me and my ever-changing schedule. Their communication was beyond superb. The description and pictures are a very accurate representation of the condo. Directions and instructions were perfect. Had no problems locating the place and the concierge was great the whole time. The condo was very cozy and loved the location because we were in walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do. It was nice and quiet and a lot of days we were able to sleep in without any disturbances or noise from the outside or the neighbors. The full kitchen and utensils allowed us to save money on eating out and allowed us to fix many romantic dinners. The only thing I would have asked was to have the a/c working. On our last days it became warm outside and we could not get the a/c to work. But besides that little mishap, we absolutely loved it and would certainly stay again.

Another successful booking with vbro.com! Everything about the process was easy, from booking to check-out. Susan and Bill are extremely accessible and hospitable. The condo is clean, affordable and couldn't be more conveniently located. The screened-in balcony was my favorite, a perfect spot to enjoy my morning coffee. There were 3 of us staying in the unit, and our friend who slept on the pull-out couch said it was very comfortable. The little touches Susan prepared for us, fresh flowers, coffee, bananas, pretzels and beer brought a smile to my face. She thought of everything! We have already booked our stay for next month and look forward to making this our new vacation spot. Can't imagine we will book a hotel in Atlanta again. Highly recommend - A+

My husband had a conference at the WCC. Perfect location with many sites within walking distance. Susan and Bill were so wonderful! We were welcomed by a bottle of wine, and a 6 pack of cold beer in the fridge. They also had cheese and crackers and fresh fruit for our late night arrival. We were also treated to a visit to the Botanical Gardens. A must see if you are a nature lover. We had none of the issues of the previous renters. The condo was very clean and comfy! The bed is very comfortable, and nice to have a kitchen and living space. One of the more homey rentals we have expierenced. A good value for the money. We will definately be back on our next trip to downtown Atlanta. David and Mary

Not what I expected

First off let me say that I've stayed in numerous VRBO properties and this was my first disappointment. My family and I stayed in the condo for three nights. First off, I was told several times via email that I would be receiving driving/parking instructions but never received them. When we arrived in Atlanta we had to keep driving around the block while calling the owner's cell to figure where to park. Once we got that figured out we get up to the condo and they're still cleaning it. We were also told that they were having shower problems. The guy gave me a wrench and said something like, "You can figure it out." They also said they'd be back to fix it but never came back. The TVs in the condo are OLD and the one is the bedroom is tiny - maybe a 10" screen. The air conditioning in the condo is not sufficient and the owners had several fans in the unit - one of which would make an awful screeching sound every so often (when it worked). The doors in the condos are generally out of alignment and wouldn't shut properly. To get the Wii to work you had to unplug the cable in the back and plug in the Wii - not very convenient. The "view" from the screened balcony looks directly out on to the parking lot behind the building - something that the pictures in the listing conveniently excluded. One day we were stopped by the concierge because she didn't know we were and the owners never told her about us. The concierge mentioned that this was against the rules and we had to give her our info on our own. The worst part was the roaches. My wife is an early riser and got up to fix coffee only to be greeted by a roaches crawling across the counter. She waited to tell me until the second day because she didn't want to upset me. I also encountered roaches scurrying across the wall in the kitchen and around the trash can. I suppose I could have complained to the owners but what were they going to do? We really only used the condo to sleep because we were out sightseeing most of the day. Moving to a hotel would have been a hassle and we'd already had enough. On the plus side, the location is great and within easy walking distance to the aquarium and other attractions. I had high hopes for the condo but I was disappointed and definitely won't be back.

My parents and I stayed here for my cousin's wedding, which was located at a nearby Cathedral and the reception was somewhere across from the Ritz-Carlton. I think we got the better deal in the bang for your buck category! (Considering they paid $299 or $319, if they wanted breakfast for a single bedroom and bath, while we paid $100 flat for an entire condo with porch!!!). The location of the condo was perfect! It was walking distance to everywhere we had to be for the wedding. The condo was nice and spacious. I thought the kitchen was very well-done and maximized the space well. I really enjoyed being in it. Thank you so much for the beer, wine, nuts and (even though we didn't eat one) the nice pizzas provided! I wish I had been able to spend more time in the condo, actually. The screened-in porch was a true delight. My mother and I actually had a truly great talk out on it, and I spent a lot of my time in the condo out on the balcony. The entire condo is very clean, including the screened-in balcony. My only complaints would be: the TVs were old and small, as sometimes else pointed out. The condo is not very modern, except for the kitchen (I understand it was built in the 50s or early 60s and I do take that into account for that in my review of the rental property.) However, remodeling some more things besides the kitchen would be great! i.e., the bathroom (putting in a standard-size jetted tub would be great & take up no more room than the old, rusted porcelain tub!), updated furniture, and find a way to get rid of that darn ole radiator that woke me up more than I can count!! All in all, we had a really good time at Bill and Susan's condo! They're incredible people, and Susan is such the Southern Belle. She exudes hospitality, and was so sweet to accommodate my unique needs. The condo fit my father and mine's special needs perfectly. I am a student studying Hospitality, and can tell Mrs. Susan is a fine lady, judging by how kind/caring she is, her thoughtful touches like wine and crackers, or beer and nuts, fresh flowers (I loved those!), etc.! We will be back! Hopefully to find a jetted tub! ;-P LOL Thanks for everything, Bill & Susan! :)

Quaint Little Condo

My 3 girlfriends and I stayed here this past weekend for "girls weekend" in ATL. We had a blast and the condo was very nice and comfortable! It was such a cute & quaint condo. I arrived early and Bill & Susan were cleaning the condo. They were kind enough to allow me to come up and hang out on the lanai while they finished up and as I waited for my other girlfriends to arrive. They are such a sweet couple - very gracious and accommodating. Bill is so sweet and Susan is just a doll! Upon our arrival, there was wine waiting for us along with cheese & crackers, nuts and pizza for us to snack on. We had everything we needed here and the location was awesome! The view from the lanai was awesome as well - especially at night. Perfect, perfect location. Near everything! There was also a chinese restaurant right around the corner that was really really good. I would definitely recommend this condo to my friends and family. You cannot go wrong!

This is a very nice condo and just perfect for 2 people. Enjoyed the Lani very much. Beds very comfortable. Susan & Bill were very accommodating. Very gracious hosts. Everything we wanted was within walking distance and very nice of them to furnish a parking pass also. Appreciated the drinks, pizza and crackers and cheese while we were there. The pictures are very accurate and the condo was very clean and well kept. Very easy to get to. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

The property has a great location, in walking distance to the convention center, Centennial park, and is right across from the Hyatt. The unit itself is comfy. The owners were super nice and provided great directions to the property. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for an alternative to staying in the usual hotel properties near downtown Atlanta.

this was our 32nd year of conferences in different cities thru out the USA so we are not spring chickens we had a wonderful comfortable environment that was convenient safe and secure the location was ideal for shopping conference activties meeting old friends and fine dining was only a few blocks away loved the aquarium eight of us had a fabulous seafood dinner at rays on a wednesday evening and I mean fabulous thank you mr and mrs pierce for a wonderful relaxing fun experience sincerely anita and estelle

If the properties and owners listed on Homeaway are all like our first experience, you have customers for life. Property was exactly as described and the owners are the most gracious hosts you could possibly imagine. Secure building with great staff, darling apartment with all the amenities of the 4 star hotels that surround it. The best beds ever! Our "baseball" week in Atlanta was made so much more enjoyable by having a home (not a room) to go back to at the end of each day. You could cook a fabulous meal in the beautiful, fully equipped kitchen but every restaurant in a 2 block walking distance was a great meal. The best massage you can imagine is on the lower level of Peachtree Center. We indulged after hours in the plastic chairs at the ball park. You want for nothing in this neighborhood right downtown. The city lights at night on the patio are outstanding and you want to linger because it is so comfortable, furnished like a small living room. Quiet, clean, comfortable, and so much more personality than the boring decor of rooms in hotels. We will look for a homeaway in every city we visit from now on. But a word to our future hosts: Beware, Bill and Susan have raised the bar!

This condo was very nice! Everything in it was comfy and cozy. It made my family and I feel right at home. The owners were very nice and made sure we had all their information in case there was a problem during our stay. The central location was wonderful for us and what we were doing. We liked the fact that once we got there we parked our car and didn't use it again until it was time to go. Anything that someone may need is within walking distance. The condo was just as expected-- quiet, comfortable, clean, and well-located. The owners were prompt in answering phone calls and emails prior to my stay and made themselves available during my stay in case I needed them. This was a perfect central location for a weekend trip that included: Fernbank Museum, High Museum, IKEA, Georgia Aquarium, and the Coca-Cola Museum. You cannot find a better place for the price, and you don't have to compromise on comfort either! I definitely would recommend this condo to anyone looking for some time away.

This comment is long overdue! We staying here back in July. I surprised my boyfriend with this vacation and a Braves game for his birthday. We fell in love with this cute little home. It was very comforting from the time we walked in the door to the time we left. We couldn't have asked for better owners to work with. It was my first time using VRBO, but definitely had a wonderful first experience with it. We look forward to coming back to Atlanta and staying here again. The condo was in a very convenient location within walking distance to the Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola. Everything inside the condo was clean and very cozy. There is a Corner bakery across the street and a little store downstairs in case you want to buy some food. The beds were so very comfortable and we slept like a log every night. We were in town for a wedding and it was easy access to the interstates for travel to the greater Atlanta area. Great location and value for the Atlanta area!

Everything about this rental was great. The location, the view, the unit itself, the owners. We had a great time, the weather even co-operated for our first ever visit to Georgia. The condo was clean, beautifully updated, fully stocked and quiet. We could walk to many nearby attractions, the aquarium, CocaCola, CNN, downtown, restaurants, The Corner Bakery was right next door and great for breakfast and lunch. Turner Field was close by, watched 3 Braves games. We have and will continue to recomnend this service and this property to our friends and will use it again when we can.

The owners of this condo are wonderful people and went out there way to help us book only a one night stay.The unit is perfectly located to the main attraction such as Ga. aquarium , coca cola world and the famous atlanta zoo.The heat index during our stay was around 100 degrees the a/c in the unit is a little dated and we did get a little warm during our stay. Other than the a/c the condo couldn't have been more perfect. We have already recommended to friends and family. thanks again Bill and Susan

This was the best choice we could have made for our stay in Atlanta.The Condo was within minutes of Olympic Park,CNN,World of Coke,Cyclorama.Zoo Atlanta, Atlantic Station and my favorite IKEA. We had the most wonderful breakfast across the street from the condo at The Corner Bakery. Susan and Bill have a special way of making you feel welcome.We appreciated all the hospitality.
