WELCOME TO THE LAKE!
Big Paw Paw Lake fun footsteps away. This 2 story rental was just finished in June 2007 featuring 2 large bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed and tv w/dvd, the other a full size bed. Both with dressers, plenty of room, and sliders out to an adjoining balcony.
The view is incredible! Also upstairs is a full bath with a washer and dryer as well as an extra area large enough for an additional air mattress.
Downstairs is completely open area from the two sliders outside to the kitchen area. The couch folds out into another queen bed and the living area has a tv with vcr/dvd player.
The kitchen features a large island with barstools for dining or just hanging out. A half bath and closet complete the lower level.
Your weekly stay will be from Friday afternoon until Friday morning of the following week. Try to be packed and ready by 11:00 so we can have it cleaned for the next guests. Check in is no later than 3:00 P.M., you can come earlier if the boathouse is available.
We hope you enjoy the lake as much as we do!

I would not stay here again. This house was not meant for a one year old. The washer and dryer are small and you can only wash/dry so much at a time. I had to keep resetting the dryer b/c none of my clothes were drying not to mention the loud high pitch sound it makes when on. The carpet could use a washing. Bring your own pots and pans b/c the ones there for you to use are no good. The sand in the back yard had tons of bees during the day and they would dig into the sand that my dogs were using as a bathroom. We were given a can of raid. At night the bees went away but the spiders came out. I expected spiders due to the fact it is a boat house but it was ridiculous. I smoke but I rarely smoked at night b/c the place was a spider hotel on the outside. The inside of the house was pretty much spider free, a few here and there. But when I would go out to have a cigarette there were always spider webs on the doors and spiders dropping down on my head. I think this house needs home defense badly. This house would be fine for a couple of college kids but not a family with a one year old. The couch had stains on it and looked old and we were to affraid to pull out the couch bed. I didn't sit on it unless I had a sheet over it. We arrived friday evening with no tv in the house. We got tv by monday afternoon. But I needed a place that was dog friendly and close to another house my family rented on little paw paw lake. It was a 2 min drive from this house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers.
Owner response: I am very sorry you were unhappy. The first time anyone has has a bad thing to say about the rental. A newer washer/dryer unit has been installed, another stackable unit as to the space allowed, works great! The sand outside had been very hard from rain, and yes a couple times a year we do see bees making tunnels in the hard sand. Nature at its best. I have found that a quick rake through the sand an crushing the little tunnels they've made and then spraying raid makes them go away permanently. Also happened to be the time our local cable provider switched to digital and I needed a converter box for every tv, found out Saturday and had them Monday. As some maybe aware, spiders do seem to appear close to buildings on the water. As These tenants brought this to my attention, I completely powerwashed the entire outside of the building the same day to put them at ease. Many families have stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We try our best to make everyone comfortable and offer our boathouse as the least expensive on the water!!

My husband and I, along with our two teenage sons, have rented the boathouse for the last 3 years. The house is lovely, clean, and is equipped with everything you could need. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. This location offers an extraordinary view of Paw Paw Lake. Our family enjoys water sports and fishing, so this is the perfect getaway for us.There is plenty of room to dock a boat. Fishing is great off the pier. The local dining is great. Our favorite being the Friendly Restaurant in town. If you enjoy going to the movies you must check out the Coloma Loma. It is a quaint movie theatre that gets all the new movies at an incredibly low price. I would definitely recommend this rental.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I rented the boat house last year, and are returning this year. This house has everything we need and more. We enjoyed the location. We were able to dock our boat with no problem. There's plenty of parking. Our young children were able to swim right off the deck. The house is clean and fully equiped. The owner is very accomodating. We can't wait to have a blast and make some memories at the lake this year!!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
