We came on Saturday evening and couldn't believe this would be like this. Kathy showed us the place and her trophy selection in her house which was great. We had a lot of fun here and in he dock. You guys rock!!! We hope to come again soon. Take it easy.

We came for Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time! The house had everything we needed and then some. The lake was absolutely magnificent! We had so much fun on the water and on the dock. Thank you Kathy & Spike! We hope to come again and next time take your fishing charters!

Spike & Kathy Once again, our family and friends had a fabulous stay at your place. I'm upset that we have to leave. I guess that will just get me more excited when we return. Our families are considering coming in the fall! Whenever it happens to be that we come back, I can't wait! Thank you so much. Another note from the same group: We are amazed at how well kept, well appointed and clean your house is. It makes all the difference. A beautiful time. Ya'll are pretty darn sharp.

What a great week! Even the weather was perfect. Boating, fishing, swimming, tubing and skiing - so much to do. Thank you for your great hospitality and the use of your comphy home. PS - I added myself & 3 little girls to the mix - hubby had to work!) We had a tremendous time - hope to be back soon!

We liked the beach and made big clay pies! My Mom liked when she caught a 10 pound fish. I caught a big bass right off the peir. We all enjoyed the cabin rooms. They were big! We went canoing in the lake and rode the waves the modor boats made out the back. My parents and Poppy went out fishing. They caught 5 fish and in the picture I was in I pretended that I was hooked on the hookes! (I liked cleaning the fish!) Thank you Kathy & Spike

Smith Mountain Lake is a perfect place to destress. This was the most relaxing vacation we've had. Your accomodations contributed greatly to that. The beach, the dock, the golf car, the deck and the house made the vacation very comfortable for our family. We got alot of use out of the beach toys, rafts and paddleboat. The well stocked kitchen and all the paper goods, soap, etc. was greatly appreciated. Most of all the pride of ownership really is apparent with this property. The yard is gorgeous, as is the house. It is simple, tasteful and well kept. We hope to make this our annual vacation and to make yout home our retreat. Thank you.

Dear Kathy & Spike, We had a great time at your lake condo. The weather wasn't great but Dave did a lot of fishing and between the golf cart, beach and TV & videos, the boys had a great time. Kathy & Spike - We had a wonderful time at your place & on the lake. The house was clean and big. The kitchen was well stocked which was a treat as well as the Striper! You are truly accomodating & gracious hosts. We love the lake & the area. There is so much more to explore - we are looking forward to our next trip(s). P.S. The golf cart was a hit. Although, the hill provides a good work-out.

Kathy & Spike & Sharon - Marvelous, stupendous, fantasagorical!!! This is the second time we have gathered here from all across the US for a family reunion. Your accomodations were great - very comfortable, and very relaxing. We thank you for sharing your piece of the lake with us. What a beautiful place to live. Thanks again. PS - The fish under the dock won't need to be fed for severral weeks thanks to us! From Nora Lee & Don too - we are so grateful for a marvelous place to meet with the whole family. We know everyone will be safe, and have a great time. Someone ran over your first row of begonias; we have no idea if it was one of us, or someone else. We replaced the plants, and I worked the roots of the crushed ones. I think they will recover! Many, many thanks!

Thank you so much for the great place! This house is beautiful! It is well maintained, furnished beautifully and a nice distance from the water. We had an awesome time, and maybe we'll be back again next year. Smith Mountain Lake is absolutely lovely!
