IF YOU LOVE STEAMBOAT ... YOU'LL LOVE THESE DIGS. This is the dream condo of a lifelong ski industry executive. I have visited dozens of resorts and stayed in hundreds of mountain pads before I fell in love with this one!
Open & flexible floor plan: master suite, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, great spaces for kids, sleeps up to 8. Granite counters, exotic vessel sinks, bamboo floors, fireplace, tasteful art and decor. Chef-friendly gourmet kitchen stocked with more than the average appliances and supplies: crock pot, coffee grinder, mixer, cooking oil, foil, plastic wrap, and an array of spices for all your culinary pursuits.
Free use of snowshoes, boot and glove dryers, ski locker at base of mountain. Mountain restaurants and shops are walking distance or take the short drive (or easy free bus ride) into Old Town for many more shops and restaurants.
Top (3rd) floor condo with free adjacent parking and an easy climb up wide tread, low-rise stairs. 42" HD home theater with surround sound (watch dozens of DVDs in my library). CD-jukebox loaded with 200 albums. Free high-speed internet. Gift basket with free goodies for all guests.
Unexpected amenities: humidifiers in all bedrooms, hair dryers in both bathrooms, iron & board, snow shovel ... I thought of just about everything! You'll get everything you need for a great stay in Colorado's mountains without paying the overhead at hotels or condo complexes.

Gorgeous natural hotsprings are a uniquely memorable Steamboat experience year-round.
My favorite breakfast place in town (among many greats). Famous for creative variations on eggs Benedict and much more.
Best barbecue in town at reasonable prices. A true locals' hangout, this is an unpolished Western saloon full of character, spit, and vinegar.
Steamboat's apres-ski "beach" - the place to pull up a lounge chair and sip on a pitcher any sunny afternoon. Good pizza, apps, & bar food.
A Steamboat fixture: great live bands most nights, cold beer, no shortage of character (and characters). Best place in town to start a fight.
Excellent sushi and service: small place - can be tough to get a table. Belly up and watch the sushi chefs work their magic.
Nearest year-round stop to SteamboatDigs (4 block walk). Ride the free bus from here to mountain base (4 min) and Old Town (less than 20 min total ride).
2nd closest winter bus stop to SteamboatDigs. Hop off Green line here after skiing: 4 min ride and 5 block walk home.

As the owner of SteamboatDigs, I have worked in the ski industry for 16 years and counting. I started with Warren Miller Films and am now a freelance writer and film director. Having traveled, skied, and stayed all over North America, it was my dream to own an ideal mountain retreat in Steamboat. Still living the dream in Steamboat on film and writing assignments, I have opened my retreat to friends, athletes, ski industry icons, and now you! It's a comfortable, well-appointed landing pad from your days of skiing & riding, hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, and more. I recommend strolling from the condo for a delicious mango margarita from La Montana, soaking in the two local hot springs, and getting outdoors for all that Steamboat Springs has to offer. Enjoy your stay and come back often!
