This was our fourth time that we used VRBO for finding a rental, and I have to say that this was the best experience that we've had thus far. The townhouse is impeccably maintained and furnished and the owners are a joy to talk with. The townhouse is about a block off the beach with easy access to Moonlight Beach. It's also situated in the heart of Encinitas, so if you didn't want to you wouldn't even have a need to get back into your car, everything is so close! If you're looking for a nice place to stay in the Encinitas area, then this is the one!!! We had a truly enjoyable time and "will" be back!!!

This is the second VERBO home we have spent vacation time lounging in, and again we were so pleased with our choice! The townhouse is in an ideal location, with easy beach access, and the charming downtown is closely available with great restaurants and cute shops. If you like vintage, as I do, the main street has oodles of choices! We also found many nearby areas of natural habitat to explore each day. The home is very comfy, and has all the bells and whistles for a group of multi-age vacationers to enjoy! Sharron, the owner, was enjoyable and friendly. I highly recommend this home as a great VERBO choice. In fact, we plan to book again soon!

We had a wonderful time and Sharon is great! I highly recommend renting from her. The condo was beautiful, comfortable and steps from downtown and D street beach. Great surfing spots, Swami's is less then a mile. This place have everything you'll need. All the bikes and boggie boards were in great shape and quality. She has chairs, umbrellas, beach mats, surfboards, wet suits, BBQ, games for the kids, and so on. The condo has all the cooking and bedding we needed. it has a wonderful patio and balcony that perfect for having coffee in the morning and a Beer or more in the afternoon. We will definitely be back next summer or even this winter for a surf break! One last thing, the train is in walking distance and you can take it to San Diego or north into orange county.

My family and I had a wonderful experience staying at Sharon's rental home. It's a beautiful well kept place minutes from the beach. The town's main street is easily accessible and we did enjoy take out from the local restaurants there. The bikes, games, beach toys, books that were provided added to the fun that we all had...especially my three young kids (aged 3-11). It was a great location to visit the nearby attractions such as Legoland, Safari Park, Zoo, etc. All in all, we will recommend this rental to our family and friends and we hope to stay here or in another place of Sharon's again. Thank you Sharon for your thoughtfulness and the care you put into maintaining a high quality place for families like us to enjoy. =)

I stayed in this beautifully appointed home for 5 entire months when I moved to CA from the midwest. It was such a treat to be within walking distance of everything, including beach, charming downtown shops and restaurants. Sharon provided everything anyone could think of for a great vacation! Bikes, surf boards, games, beach toys; you name it, it was there! The home was immaculate, homey and comfortable. I entertained out of town guests easily and would rate this rental as my all time favorite. You won't be disappointed.

6 mid-30 year old guys who came down to this place right by the beach for a bit of a surf vacation before a few of us have our 1st child later in the year. The location is fantastic and house is more spacious than it may look from the outside; it provides enough space to sleep all of us with a great 2nd floor to gather, have some drinks, and just catch up. Overall a great option for either a few families to get away to the beach together or like us, a bit of a guys reunion by the beach in a really cool little town.

My husband and two kids and I had such a wonderful time staying here. The house is beautifully appointed and very spacious-- perfect for our family. The proximity to the beach/shops can't be beat-- we walked everywhere! Enjoyed our time at the beach, which was enhanced by the great beach towels, chairs and boogie boards that the owner so generously shares with her guests. Also enjoyed the great selection of books and the kids enjoyed all the great toys in the unit (although their favorite part was having their own TVs in their rooms!). We ate at many of the restaurants the owner suggested and also had meals in which was so easy because the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, measuring cups, etc-- everything we needed and more. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back again!

Wow! What a great place to stay! Beautifully decorated, tons of closet space, great kitchen, Multiple decks and patios, fully stocked inside and out. The owner had beautiful new mountain bikes for our use, new boogie boards and more. The garage is stocked with toys and games for all ages. The house is stocked with lots of linens, blankets and extra beds. The location is wonderful, just steps to the beach and to town. We had a great time!

Awesome property and lovely home owner. She was more than accommodating. We locked ourselves out once and called her a couple of times for restaurant recommendation. I had friends come in from the east coast and we stayed at this fabulous house for a week. The best beaches and restaurants in Southern California are within walking distance. The kids learned to surf and we enjoyed Legoland which is just 10 minutes away. The house is clean and fully stocked with all the amenities one could need, including outdoor/beach gear ~ boogie boards, etc. We also enjoyed the clean, newly remodeled kitchen and baths. We can't wait to go back!

Excellent vacation property. We had 7 people, various ages. Beach was great, and less than a block away. Restaurants close by also, as is freeway access. And it was only about a 20 minute drive to get to San Diego Harbor/PETCO field area. This house has EVERYTHING, including a brand new washer/dryer..it was unbelievable how much we used them! Very nice! Kitchen was compact, but very functional. Bathrooms were newly remodeled with plenty of towels. It was great! So much nicer than staying in a hotel and more relaxing. We look forward to staying here again next summer!

My wife and I had just the kind of relaxing week we were looking for here. The townhouse was recently remodeled and everything was just like new. We walked to most the places we wanted to go...half a block to the beach, a few blocks to a number of really good restaurants. Great dinner at Bigilucci's. The best breakfasts ever for the price at Honey's. For the active types the place comes with a garage full of athletic accessories, including bikes for adults and kids, boogie boards, wetsuits, masks and fins, and on and on. The owner is easy to contact and helpful. All in all this place deserves 5 stars.

My family and I spent Christmas and New Year's here and it was wonderful! The house has everything one could need and more. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and the location in downtown Encinitas and steps away from Moonlight Beach can't be beat! The owner is really nice and helpful too.
