We visited the Pottery Barn house in March 2012 and had a blast. The layout of the house is exceptional, and the owners have the house stocked with all of the essentials that you'll need. Our group stayed n 3 different houses for the weekend, and PB was by far the best. We will definitely come back next year.

We visited with two other families and we all agreed the house was awesome! The layout of the house was perfect for families with kids - there is a separate family room for the kids downstairs with tv and all sorts of games. The upstairs was beautifully appointed with an open layout and a fireplace that is viewable in both the kitchen and living room. The house was impeccably clean and had supplies aplenty - all the firewood, kitchen supplies, linens, paper products, shampoo and soap anyone would need - it was like a hotel. The views from the back of the house were beautiful and the location was close to everything. I could go on and on. Nathalie and Scott were very accomodating hosts - we'll definitely plan on visiting your house again.

About 10 years ago we would go skiing evry year the day after Chridtmas, however as my brothers and I have become older we have busy careers and not too mention my children. A spur the moment idea as a get away came to mind which we could all fit in our plans! I was search and searchin for a comfortable place with my main focus being amazing! Nathalie and Scott were vey inviting on a short notice and made accomidations around the holidays which I know can be difficult. The house was emaculate. The house had a very clean homey feel with eveything I needed at my fingertips. No need to bring linens, paper towels, tissue, shampoo, dish soap...nothing just the family. It was so convient it made it that more relaxing. Nathalie was very organized and very plasant when making our arrangements. We came with Very little snow but we enjoyed every moment of our time playing the bord games provided and enjoying everyones company! Can't wait to contact Nathalie and scott again in the near future. Thanks again for everything.

This property was the perfect getaway for our family. It was the perfect location to base for cycling, hiking with the dogs, and being outdoors. The view from the house is beautiful and it is situated right next to an overlook. The house was wonderfully cleaned and prepared for our arrival and the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to stay home and cook wonderful meals. The owners were very responsive and helpful in arranging our stay. We will look forward to a return visit next year for more cycling on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

What a user friendly home! Great for adults and small children. The owners made it so easy with all that they provided for our use. All we had to bring was our food for the weekend and beach towels. They had shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, napkins, paper towel, paper plates and more. The younger children had plenty of toys & books. Magazines for the adults. Plenty of TV's and DVD. A very comfortable home for all ages. We were there in July and did not miss the AC. Plenty of fans that kept us comfortable. Beautiful look out in walking distance. ( great for family pictures.) In fact, we did take a picture of the 12 of us and someone riding by yelled " great holiday card." Thank you for letting us share your home. Joyce & family

This house was both luxurious and comfortable! We had a great time with multiple families-- very kid- and dog-friendly and lots of space to spread out. There is everything you could ever need stocked in the pantry in terms of staples. Right by a trail and a beautiful overlook with a short drive to a pool and playground-- we will certainly be back.

We have rented a lot of vacation houses but this one had all the little extra stuff that makes a stay enjoyable. Didn't have to run out for dish cleaning soap, toilet paper, even aluminum foil, etc... The place was well maintained. A little nice feature was the key code main door. No need to keep track of who had the key. The owners were very reponsive and easy to deal with. Would definitely stay here again. This was springtime so no A/C wasn't an issue---don't know that it would be in the middle of summer.
Owner response:Jim and Peggy, Thanks for being our guests. We're very glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate the nice comments regarding the positive features of our home. Our home was built without air conditioning, as are many homes on the mountain at Wintergreen. We think the custom builder was "green" before his time! Our home is sited at an elevation of 3,600 feet, surrounded and shaded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. The glorious mountain temperatures are consistently 10 degrees cooler than temperatures in the valley and surrounding cities. Each room has a fan, there are 2 ceiling fans, and numerous windows - the cross breezes create a comfortable setting. This is our 6th summer owning 618DK, and we have not experienced uncomfortably hot conditions in our home. Bring the outdoors in - enjoy the nature! We're always happy to hear from happy guests and would love to have you back. Regards, Scott and Nathalile

Beautifully decorated and comfortable at the same time, it was plenty spacious for the 12 people (3 generations) in our group and had something for everyone. The kids loved the basement stocked with games, while adults enjoyed the views, gourmet kitchen, taking long walks in the neighborhood, and great special touches throughout. The house was so well furnished - the owners had truly thought of everything we might want or need. We've stayed in lots of rental houses, but never have we felt more at home. The location was really the best of both worlds - we got the great views from being at the top of the mountain, and were also just one street away from Wintergreen Drive –the main road leading to all of the resort facilities. To top it off, owners Nathalie and Scott were fantastic and super accommodating. We'll be back!

My friends and I have an annual girls weekend in Wintergreen. We have rented this house the past three years and we love it! There is plenty of room for all of us. The views from the house are unbeatable! It is very comfortable. We are within walking distance to many hiking trails. We are also a short drive from many fantastic wineries and breweries. I highly recommend this mountain top beauty!

This house is really very nice, we were twelve people (and two dogs) spanning three generations, and found the lay-out very accommodating. The wonderful owners have fully stocked the house (with non-perishables), making life easier for us. We enjoyed the hiking trails, the pool, and a day down at Lake Monocan. Can recommend this house without reservation!

We spent 2 weeks at this home in July and had various family members visiting us during our stay. It will sleep many comfortably! There were many games and activities for the kids downstairs. The new master bathroom was very nicely updated. We were even allowed access to park in their (detached) garage. The views are spectacular and the owners are very easy to work with.

This house was absolutely fabulous! Everything you could think of needing in a vacation house was provided and the owners were so accomodating and easy to work with. The pictures of the views do not do it justice. The location was perfect and my group had a great time. We plan to stay at this house again!

I am a frequent visitor to Wintergreen but this was the first time I stayed in this house. It was very nice with plenty of room for all 6 of us. The house is in a very nice spot at the tippy top of the mountain. The views and sunsets were the best. Love Wintergreen and love this house. I will definitely stay here again.

This house is spectacular, we spent Sept 3-Sept 7 at this lovely home, the owners were kind enough to allow us to come up the night before so we could be rested/unpacked and ready to hit the trails...and all the fun festivities. The pictures do justice to the quality furniture and spectacular views from every angle in the house. But there are some unmentioned bonuses..like the high thread count Egyption sheets in the masterbedroom, this house is something out better home and gardens (Mountain style!) It was really nice to arrive at our destination and find a peaceful, clean, luxurious home..it even had games, electric piano and surprises throughout the home. We loved cooking in the gourmet kitchen and loved the proximity of the Overlook right next door..so many great things to say about this. Be ready for a steep climb up the black diamond driveway, we enjoyed the excersize but it can be a challenge! Loved working with the thoughtful owners Scott and Nathalie!

We stayed a week in August 2009 at this beautiful house. The owners thought of everything we could possibly need. The view from the deck/back of the house is breathtaking. We were looking for a place to relax and unwind from the business of the Wash DC area, and we found it at this property. We will definitely return.

We spent the last week of July 2009 at this beautiful mountain house. Our four granchildren loved the playroom, the Overlook and the stream at the Nature Preserve. They also managed to find some time to visit the swimming pool. The adults enjoyed the hiking trails and the tennis courts, as well as the golf course. Some of us also took advantage of the services at the fabulous Day Spa. The house is very comfortable and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen. The view is spectacular, and we spent a lot of time on the deck. We'd love to come back some day!

What a great place. My family spent 4 days this past August (09)in this very comfortable home. The views from the deck and the adjoining overlook were wonderful. The only negative was that the area had no cell phone coverage. We probably needed a break from the cell phones anyways. The owners are great to work with.

Our family will be back to this wonderful home. The rental is close to the slopes and the spa. We sat on the deck in the morning and took in breath-taking views and lit a warm fire in the gorgeous stone fireplace and cooked all of our after ski-slope meals in this homes beautiful kitchen. The owners have thought of everything and exceeded our expectations. Snow season is almost here and we cannot wait to enjoy a week of family fun once again. I believe the resort has year round activities and this rental would be perfect for any time of year. Very Cozy and enjoyable home.
