I have stayed in many cabins through VRBO and I would say this is one of the best. The cabin is located in a quiet neighbourhood behind boulder bay. Upon arrival the cabin was very clean and the owner/agency had gone to the effort of leaving a couple of lights and the heating on, making it feel very welcoming. The cabin is well decorated and has everything you need. The hot tub on the deck was clean and ready to go. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and would definitly stay here again.

Great single level cabin. Kids had a blast. Easy check in and out. Located in a residential area, close to the main roads, fire place, parking, and it had the cabin cozy feeling you're looking for! Would go back for sure.

We had the best time at Baby Bear cabin!! The photos don't do it justice. It was clean, warm, cozy, comfortable and had everything you could want in a cabin! The beds were SO comfy, I got the best nights sleep! The owners have great taste in movies and decor (in my opinion), I just loved everything about the place. The warm clean jacuzzi, the mini-arcade table (two BIG "thumbs ups"), the fenced in little private yard, the big screen tv with two soft recliners, all the extra blankets and pillows for snuggling up on the couch...my list goes on. I plan on staying here over the holidays so anyone reading this better back off ;) j/k!...kind of

This is a beautiful cabin in Big Bear. I stayed there with my wife for a weekend on our anniversary. She wasn't sure she wanted to go, but after only being there for 1 hour, she asked me if we could buy the place. Aside from going to dinner and a short walk around the town, we spent most of our time inside. They TV works great, internet works great, Spa works great (a little hard to close the cover, but no big deal), and the video game console has 8 classic games including Ms. Pacman and Galaga. Full kitchen, shower and bath... To top it off, the owner is a super nice guy. We'll be coming back, probably with whole our family next time.
Owner response:We are thrilled that your stay was enjoyable. It is our goal to provide all of the comforts of home, while you create memories of our beautiful mountain resort. We look forward to your next stay at Baby Bear Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at Baby Bear with our two teenagers. Clearly the owners have put some work into this cabin. The cabin is nicely furnished and very inviting with all the amenities you could ask for (internet, furnished deck, spa). The kitchen is well stocked although wine glasses were all plastic – probably because of the spa. We brought our own spices and were pretty well set. We cooked most of the time and had ample utensils/pans/plates etc. The beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house for a little privacy. The deck is very nice for breakfast, stargazing, or just reading the paper and relaxing. We really appreciated the spa and used it almost every afternoon. It was well maintained and clean. We brought our bikes and rode all around the neighborhood (as well as some trails) – very pretty. It is about ¼ mile to the nearest marina – long walk or short bike/drive. We took advantage of boating and tubing. People at the marina were very friendly. On the down side, the house next door to the cabin looks directly down onto the deck, which limits your privacy. During the week it wasn’t a problem, but on the weekend, the neighbors (although very nice) were a bit noisy. We also did not find that the cabin had a lake view. The other thing was the noise from flushing the toilet in the master bathroom. Sounds a little like a foghorn. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay and the minor downsides were certainly not enough to keep us from staying here again. We really liked the location – close to everything but not in the middle of town. We found both the owner and staff at Grey Squirrel were very nice and helpful. The owner made every effort to accommodate our dates and when we had a problem with the refrigerator and coffee pot, Grey Squirrel staff had it fixed immediately

What a lovely home! Warm & welcoming; Beautiful deck and hot tub. Felt like we were in our old home in the mountains of Park City, Utah. A bit of nostalgia... Thank you for a wonderful few days.

We were charmed by the living accomodations provided by this comfortable VRBO property. The photos and descriptions give you a great advance impression of what to expect...the reality, onced we arrived, is even better. We appreciated all the comforts of home and the northwoods setting was quiet and peaceful when we arrived. The cabin is easy to locate and well situated in the Big Bear Lake area. We recommend this accomodation to anyone who is staying in Big Bear Lake. We look forward to a future time when we can return and once again enjoy this comfortable cabin in such a scenic setting.

The listing description and photos were very accurate. Actually, it's even better in person. This cabin exceeded our expectations. So many charming details and lots of comfort. We will definitely recommend to friends and family, and we hope to be back again ourselves. You were out of salt, though, so we replenished your supply. Only one complaint: the Big Mouth Billy Bass was out of batteries. :-)

This place is beautiful, very clean, quiet and quaint. The jacuzzi is a total PLUS. I couldn't get WiFi at the house, but maybe that was my fault. Comfy bed (we only used one room, but there are TWO king beds, nice!! Everything you need in the kitchen. Bring unsalted peanuts in the shell for the woodland creatures if you like squirrels and bluejays. BYO firewood and fire starter as the FP has no gas (no biggie!) Towels and sheets provided, another PLUS. Central heat, another PLUS. We will stay there again. Have rented many places in Big Bear...no need to look further. THANKS!!

We stayed here last winter and absolutely loved it! The bedrooms both have king-sized beds, which is a plus, and the livingroom is spacious yet cozy. The fireplace provides the perfect ambiance for a mountain getaway. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi and the view of the woods and lake from the deck. We will definitely be back to this cabin!
