My husband and I love to spend extended stays in wine country and this is by far the most comfortable, most desirable location of any other place we have rented. The kitchen is well equiped for those who like to cook despite the marvelous restaurants within walking distance of the house. The property is well maintained and I do my best to keep it in tip top shape when I am there. I must admit though we have lost a few of the potted plants during our stay. Our family who visit with us while we are they also love the property. I have recommended this property to a few others who have also rented and will become repeat renters like I am. The owners are thoughtful, caring and very attentive.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+.

Our family loves this place with its beautiful, cozy setting! The home is equipped with every amenity you may want, along with charming touches and gorgeous decor. The owners are gracious and kind. They help you plan your trip before you arrive, providing plenty of suggestions and contact information. The kitchen is the center of the home and a culinary delight on those days we want to cook. If not, we stroll down the street to a world-famous restaurant and sample its seasonal menus. Every morning, we stop for a snack at Bouchon bakery, and on each visit, we pick a chef whose creations we want to experience more and visit his/her restaurants. We also bring our golf clubs and there are plenty of fun courses in the area. Each time we come here is so memorable - personally, it's my favorite spot to vacation after years of worldwide travels. My daughter knows this spot - and this home - as part of "Santa's Village." It's especially magical for us during the holiday season. Hope you can experience it too.

If you want to experience the wine & culinary culture of Napa Valley, Yountville is the place to be, and this Yountville home is tops in all categories for vacationing experience. The property is beautiful, with a large, priviate, beautifully designed backyard to enjoy a crackling fire in the outdoor fireplace while listening to the gently flowing water feature, and crickets chirping under the tall trees and stars above. The adjacent bocce court made it fun, and we loved having almost any supply or ammenity at hand to enjoy entertaining and cooking. The home is in perfect condition with beautiful interiors. What we loved most were the extensive cooking and wine country books to reference, along with almost any kitchen device, equipment, and supplies a foodie and wine lover could need. We also loved the fact that it was stocked with some great wine glasses, and a large beautiful supply of dinnerware, and all the bells and whistles you could need. The neighborhood is the best in Yountville, with an ideal location. A very short walk to The French Laundry, Bottega, and Bouchon. There's a great road running straight out from the block that rolls through a canapy of oak trees surroiunded by the Vineyards, and away from any wine-touring traffic. A dream for a runner or cyclist! Just the turn of a corner from the house and you can take the Yount Cross Road just a mile across the valley for quick access to the Silverado Trail and some of the best wineries in North America. The Owner was very, very nice, and always available for advice or assistance. We truly felt at home, and fortunate to have found this home that was perfectly comfortable, in a perfect location. You will not be disappointed.
