The charming, comfortable, and inviting apartment is located in a historic building on the beautiful Plaza Tirso de Molina, also known as the flower market, right in the heart of Madrid. The studio sleeps 2 people on a double sofa bed and has high-speed Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a DVD player. There is a full, private bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, stovetop, microwave and washing machine. The studio faces a quiet interior patio, letting in lots of light but no street noise.

Tirso de Molina is a beautiful square in the heart of Madrid where the neighborhoods of las Letras, Lavapiés and La Latina all come together, creating a lively and interesting atmosphere. These three neighborhoods are well known for restaurants and nightlife: traditional pubs in Barrio de las Letras, wine bars in La Latina, and ethnic cuisine in Lavapiés. Also within walking distance are the historic Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Royal Palace, as well as Madrid’s major museums, and the Rastro Sunday flea market begins around the corner.

The apartment is well-communicated on public transportation. The Tirso de Molina Metro stop (Line 1) and bus stops for many lines are right on the square, and the Atocha train station is a 15-20 minute walk away. Most major sights are within walking distance, and there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops in the surrounding blocks.

    • Me and my husband stayed at this Tirso studio apartment for 5 nights. It was very clean and comfortable. Fantastic location to see the old Madrid. You could just walk to all the important tourist locations, The Royal Palace, The Prado Museum, Del Sol Square, and many many more, Plus if you need to use the Metro the Tirso De Molena Metro station was just outside this apartment. Very centrally located and i will recommend this to any first time visiter to Madrid. There are cafes just outside this apartment for morning coffee and breakfast with the famous spanish omlette (Tortilla) or Churro dipped in your coffee or hot chocolate. We enjoyed our stay here indeed it was very quite location too and will be recommending this to all our family and friends visiting Madrid in the future. Prabha

      Great studio apartment, very clean and functional in the heart of madrid. The apartment is within the same complex as the owners so they are on hand to help out with advice and speak very good english (the wife is american). The room is internal so the outside space looks onto other apartments and is narrow so you get no sun which can be disconcerting but apart from that it was fantastic. The picture does not deceive. - Oct. 2008
