  We had a great time at the cabin. Our four kids enjoyed having the entire upstairs to themselves. The cabin was well equipped with great views of the lake (from front and back). We rented a boat from Port Royal, just a short drive away, and used the boat dock for convenient access back to the cabin from the water. We had perfect weather and enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces including the deck, hot tub, hammock, beach area by the boat dock, and the fire pit. The dogs had a great time, too, running up and down the hill to the water. This was perfect family bonding time and a much needed spring break. Our kids cried when it was time to leave. Looking forward to coming back next year.

  Our visit to this great cabin was after season and we loved it !! Exactly as listed with spacious rooms and very kid friendly. Grandkids had a wonderful time visiting on weekends. We did some exploring and hiking and visited some nice little towns in the mountains. Lots of handy shopping, plus we found a couple of restaurant jewels. We will definitely put this cabin on our list for next year. Thank You !!!

  Our experience here leaves me with mixed feelings. The owner was extremely nice and the property itself is perfect for the "lake home" atmosphere. Our issues were with the acorns that fell constantly and dinged up our vehicle. Nothing the owner could do here - except possibly warn us this could happen. We had no idea acorns could do this much damage. Also, we don't have a problem with a cleaning fee, except the home was not that clean. The bedroom on the main level was very dusty - the ceiling fan had lots of dust on the blades. The living room had 'dust bunnies' clinging to a table and peeking out under furniture. I am alergic to dust so this was an issue for me. With such a nice home, friendly owner, and great spot on the lake - we really think this property fell a little short compared to other experiences we've had with VRBO.

  We had a wonderful weekend at the cabin! The location was great, and everything was clean and beautiful inside. The three stories allowed everyone to spread out and have plenty of room. We brought our boat and had a great time tubing and floating out around the dock. Hope to come stay again soon, thanks again!

  We chose a week in early MAY before the rest of the world vacations and had the most relaxing vacation with excellent FISHING ever !!!! The owners made a special trip up to bring us an adaptor for the dock electrical outlet and we forged on with the renouned LAKE SIDNEY LANIER bass fishing !!! We truely hope we can secure another great week next year !!!!

  The location on the lake and the deep water couldn't be beat. It was also nice and close to groceries, boat ramps and yummy breakfast spots. The house was very cute and comfortable and was plenty spacious enough for our small family of 4. Our boys loved sleeping on the top floor which we dubbed the "bird nest". Would definitely rent this house again!

  Our family had a fantastic time. This cabin is lovely, lots of space to span out between the 3 floors (which is great when you have a whole family). It is immaculately clean, with a sophisticated flare on country. The area is quiet and peaceful. If we were closer (we live in DE), we would definitely stay here again!!!

  We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Everything was clean - nice new bathrooms. And, on our last day we cooked the fish we caught off the dock! Thanks for everything.
