It is located in West Hills which is a twenty minute drive to New York City. You are in the heart of beautiful Long Island and minutes from the rustic and natural preserve of Long Islands beaches. You are 10 minutes from some of the best golf courses.
You would be in a modern decorated home with up-to-date amenities. The kitchen is new and opens to an outside patio that is covered and has an outdoor fireplace.
The Master Suite is equipped with a jacuzzi tub and steam shower. It also opens to an outside balcony with an amazing view.
It is a wonderful place to escape for relaxing retreat or a romantic get away. The grounds are manicured to be relaxing and comfortable so you can enjoy the outdoors. The yard is made up of several seating areas with in the rustic landscape. There is a built in pool with jacuzzi in a wonderful located and private.
Within a short drive you can access local attractions such as Sagamore Hill, The Vanderbuilt Museum, The Planting Field Arboretum State Historic Park and Coe Hall as well as The Cold Spring Harbar Fish Hatchery adn Aquarium.

I recently (July 2011) stayed at this house with my sister & brother in law and our kids. The pictures on this site do not do the property justice. The house is very large (larger than it appears in photos) and ideal for family gatherings. The pool & hot tub are amazing, the landscaping is very nice. There is plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of eachother inside & out. There is plenty of seating outside (lounge chairs, picnic tables, etc) there is a nice grassy area for the kids to play, as well as an outdoor ping pong table. We will definataley be staying at this property again. My only recomendation to other visitors is to bring your own linens.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This home is a Gem . The property is amazing .I was so relaxed when we left . Its very private . The beaches are very close and the museams and resturants are as well .cleanly ness is also the propertys pluses . We all were so confortable ,with a great kitchen and media room .The owners are very helpfull. we give this property a solid 5

Our family of 11 rented this house for 10 days in August 2009 and we had not one complaint!! Not only is it a beautiful home, but it's also spacious and full of all of the accommodations you could ever ask for. I especially loved the big kitchen and the cozy swimming pool with jacuzzi and waterfall. Thank you so much for this great experience!!
