On arrival with another couple, the rental agents Debby & Rich, were very helpful in providing information about shopping, activities and dining opportunities in the area. Debbie then took us on a tour of the house, which was ideal for our week's vacation. Both couples had a private area with adjacent bath, and the living room, kitchen and dining areas were well appointed and comfortable. The deck had a view of the bay and the outermost Cape areas, and was an ideal setting for morning coffee/breakfast, daytime relaxation, and barbecuing & dining in the evening. Very good restaurants in the area (try Barnstable Tavern), and the Sandwich Glass Museum is well worth a 2 hour visit. The water view from the lower bedroom areas was blocked by the growth of brush and trees surrounding the yard, but was not a problem since we spent no time there during daylight hours. Beaches were just a few minutes drive from the house, and parking passes were provided. All in all, an excellent vacation rental.

"A beautiful house in a beautiful location. My family stayed this summer and had a lovely time. The house was very well equipped with everything you could need, with a great decking area to sit and take in the excellent views to cape cod bay. We were visited by hummingbirds and chipmunks!, Very clean and well maintained, with very friendly owners and helpful local agents. Nearby attractions well worth a visit are the whale watching from Barnstable harbour, the sunsets all along the coast and of course the great seafood and local restaurants. You need a car to get around to make the best of your stay. Highly recommended."

My husband and I stayed in this delightful home in September which was the perfect time to visit the Cape. The house met up to its description and especially has stunning views. Although not a traditional antique Cape house it has a spectacular living area and is beautifully furnished for easy living. The house is kept in immaculate order and was spotless throughout. Debbie and Rich, who manage the house for the owners, were a pleasure to deal with. Efficient and friendly and a source of fascinating information about the Cape and all its facilities. The only downside, which wasn't an issue for us, was that it was not close walking distance to the water but the owners supplied a beach sticker for our car. This meant that we could pop down with a picnic in a matter of moments.
