Welcome to Lake Murray's only Resort! Once you arrive at Spinner's Resort you will find 11 acres and 650' on Lake Murray's shoreline designed for family fun and relaxation. Our cottages are situated in a heavily wooded area overlooking the resort. Included at Spinner's Resort we feature a outdoor "Sand Bar" with a Carribean feel and sandy beach, a full-service marina, store and Spinner's Restaurant. Spinner's Resort is a place to gather family, friends or associates for a unique lake vacation experience.
The cottages are comfortable, cozy,and distinctly cottage style. Your cottage features a well-appointed master bedroom with full bath, exceptional design, hardwood floors, full kitchen, and sitting area. Enter a spacious sleeping loft by way of a ship's ladder for a large room that kids (and adults) love. The sleeping loft overlooks the sitting area and features 2 bunk beds and a full bath. The cottage can convert into larger accommodations. Ask about adding extra guests.
Outside you'll find a southern favorite; a large front porch with rockers and swings overlooking the lake. Many guests enjoy breakfast & coffee on their porch. Grilling areas are located down the trail near-by and fire-pits are available for nightly enjoyment.
Spinner's Resort is a wonderful location for your small wedding and we have bridal packages available. Limited spa services are available. Spinner's Resort is the ONLY Lake Murray facility that can accommodate events from family reunions to full fishing tournaments with accommodations, marina, and bait and tackle.
Jet ski rentals and pontoon rental are available on site. Boat slips in the marina are available for $95 per week or $45 by the weekend.
The "Sand Bar" is a tropical oasis on the water's edge open seasonally April thru October. Join us in the sand for live entertainment and dancing, an outdoor grill for lunch and dinner, a swim area, volleyball and bocce ball.
Spinner's Restaurant features upscale dining, a stone fireplace, sparkling glass & heavy wood accents. We offer indoor dining, and an outdoor dining patio for dining over the lake. The restaurant is open year round for your evening dining pleasure, where our executive chef prepares delicious meals nightly Wed thru Sun.

Our family would like to thank you for your Southern hospitality at Spinners Resort. Your vision and your standards of operation were appreciated and enjoyed by all of us. Nine of us had an enchanting holiday week between two cottages making memories we will always have with us after we have gone. Our Pontoon Boat excursion was wonderful. Thank you for the wonderful live entertainment, the excellent food in both restaurants and the luxurious cottage accomodations. Your resort and your crew are top notch with kind and polite manners and attitudes.

My family spent a relaxing weekend in the cottages at Lake Murray in July/Aug. A great value and highly recommended. The cottages are modern (built 2009), large, clean, and tastefully decorated. We needed a pet friendly location and this was ideal. Beds were so comfortable. Enjoyed watching the lake from our front porch. Property owner and employees were friendly and helpful. Restaurant and boat slips on site. Cottages have full kitchen and washer/dryer. Flat screen TV with Direct-TV. We had 5 people and 1 pet, and this was much nicer and roomier than a hotel. There is live entertainment on the weekends in the summer which you can hear when outside, but once we shut our door, it was quiet inside. Boating on the lake is the main activity. You have to drive several miles to get to stores or nearby small towns. Recommended in nearby Prosperity SC (13 mi) are The Main Dish for sandwiches and deserts, Gasthaus Zur Elli german restaurant, Hawg Heaven for the barbeque buffet, Hamm Hardware for misc supplies, and the Prosperity Drug Store for ice cream. Newberry is another nearby town with a picturesque downtown and small shops and restaurants.

Visited Spinners during Masters practice rounds. The cottages are VERY nice, well appointed, clean, and offer all the conveniences and comforts of home. The location is outstanding, with a waterfront restaurant, lakeside open air bar with flat screens. They even have their own beach with outdoor dining tables. Beyond all, though, was the outstanding service offered by Theresa and the entire staff, who accommodated our group and made our stay very enjoyable. We'll definitely return. I have a feeling once this place catches on it will be hard find available space on the calendar to stay here. Did I mention how reasonable the rates are? I know this sounds like I might work for Spinners with this rave review, but the fact is our group is from Ohio, and we stumbled upon this place by sheer luck. Thanks for a great time at Spinners!
