Why the Owner Chose Midtown
Midtown Manhattan is closest to all the attractions, but convenient for business travelers too. We've hosted all types of guests, including families, international visitors, and hospital patients from NYU and Memorial Sloan Kettering. La Guardia and JFK airports are pretty close (depending on traffic, of course!). The building is in a quieter neighborhood, but close to the exciting attractions in the city.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
Most apartments and hotel rooms in NYC are very, very small. This one bedroom apartment is spacious, has a really nice full kitchen with marble counters and a pass-thru to the dining area that is larger than most apartment kitchens. Both the living room and bedroom have huge windows that offer nice views, but block noise (important in Manhattan). The living room is really comfortable and has lots of room for lounging, and the bedroom is a good size as well and has a really comfortable bed. The building has a large fitness center that is open for extended hours, and even has a sauna and a steam room. The Cinema Room is also a really nice touch.
Enjoy fabulous views of Manhattan from the tallest building in Manhattan.
NYU Hospital's extensive facilities are right across the street.
Famous glatt kosher deli. Fabulous corned beef, and chicken soup. To quote one of their reviews: ""It's a deli that makes your mouth water". Front of restaurant is a sports bar with large screen TVs;
A foodies dream store...their description is "purveyors of fine food, wine and kitchenware".
The United Nations is within walking distance. We've had many Mission and Embassy guests and employees stay with us.
