Ours is a simple house and perfect for the budget minded traveler who wants quiet comfort. The house was new in December 2006, has been used lightly, and this is the first year (2009) that it will be rented. We are a local sun-loving/watersports family who fishes, surfs, and kiteboards and we are extending our home to the community.
The house is set up for the beach goer and water sports vacationers with a huge lockable storage room for all kinds of gear and an outside shower (private) under the house so you can live the beach lifestyle. There is also dry parking under the house (for most vehicles...tall 4x4 vehicles might not fit under the house).
Come experience life on Hatteras Island and hope for the epic conditions that we can get. When the weather and the conditions are perfect, you will never forget it. Wake up early and catch the sunrise over the ocean. Waves, NC is the first to see the new light every day as we are the farthest out in the ocean. Bask under it all day and then you can watch it set over the sound.
All we ask is that you treat our house and our neighbors with respect and enjoy yourself when you are here. Don't forget that Hatteras Island is one of the best places to fish...anywhere! Life gets better when you cross the bridge.

We are a water based family. This street is at the heart of watersports central on Hatteras Island. Excellent fishing, surfing, kiteboarding, etc...awesome beaches! We just live up the street and this is our weekend getaway that we have opened up to a few nice people.
