Welcome to the Row House, a Vermont Vacation Home ideal for Couples and Scullers in Training. Located on ski and mountain bike trails right next door to the Nordic Ski Center and across from Lake Hosmer and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Cozy 2-bedroom cottage with antique queen bed in the master bedroom. Gourmet Kitchen with an AGA gas stove and double oven. Cooking utensils, pots and pans. Island with Bar Sink. Hearthstone wood stove in the main living area. Wooden deck in back. Sauna and CONCEPT2 rowing machine. Cathedral Ceiling window reveals beautiful mountain views on nearly 7 acres.
In an effort to get back to basics, we deliberately minimize our dependence on electronics -- including computers, televisions and telephones in favor of books, conversation and contemplation. If you absolutely need some electronic stimulation, we supply a variety of DVDs for those who bring their own DVD players. Please enjoy the retreat-like serenity.
WEEKS START SATURDAY AT 4 P.M. AND END SATURDAY AT 11 A.M.
ACTIVITIES (on site or nearby): Sculling, Cross-Country and Downhill Skiing, Dogsled Tours, Skijoring, Sledding, Snowshoeing, Hiking, Biking, Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, Horseback Riding, Golfing, Fine Dining. Walk to the Windridge Tennis Camp and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, home to the first rowing center in North America and some of the finest cross-country skiing in the country. On the Catamount Trail (a 300-mile-long trail running the length of Vermont).
