Located at Ascutney Mountain Resort we are centrally located to 8 ski mountains within 20- 45 minutes including Okemo and Killington.
We offer a comfortable home-like environment. Located just six miles off Interstate 91, Ascutney Mountain Resort is convenient to the Upper Valley as well as Woodstock and Rutland, VT, Lebanon and Manchester, New Hampshire and is less than a three hour drive from Hartford, CT and Boston, four hours from New York City.
Our unit is comfortably accommodated with a full service kitchen including coffee pots, coffee grinder, blender, pots and pans, toaster, microwave, wine glasses, etc. All mattresses have 2" memory foam tops for a peaceful nights sleep. Each bedroom has its own bath. Bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers. Linens and towels are provided. There is a DVD player in the family room.
One, two or three bedrooms available in the Windsor House. The condo has lock out units which are configurable to the number of bedrooms you need. You can choose from a hotel room, or 2 or 3 bedrooms with the kitchen/ living room (please refer to the pictures).
Room Options include:
- Two bedrooms, two bath: Sleeps up to six. Features vaulted living room, dining room, full kitchen, fireplace. Choice of king bed and two twins or two full-size beds and two twin beds.
- Three bedrooms, three bath: Sleeps 8-10. Features vaulted living room, dining room, full kitchen, fireplace. One king-size bed, two full-size beds, two twin beds and sleeper couch.

We require a $200 deposit to secure the reservation. This converts to a security/ damage deposit and is returned post departure. Credit cards require a 3% processing fee. All rentals subject to 9% Vermont state tax.
There is a daily fee for use of fitness center facilities which includes the indoor pool.

Why the Owner Chose Brownsville
Ascutney Mountain Resort is a local favorite for skiing. The elevation is great and there are a variety of trails for all ski levels. It is great for families. You don't have the lift lines or the crowds that you experience at Okemo and Killington. Yet if you choose to ski there you can get there easily enough.
During the warmer weather the area has a lot to offer. Of course proximity to Green Mountain Horse Assocation is important to us. But there are many outdoor actitities, museums, and fun places to go. You can't beat fall foliage! Basically it has something to offer every season!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
No matter when we come we have a great time! Others in our building say the same. You are able to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and be as active as you choose. It is nice that you can just stay at the resort and enjoy the amenities or choose to venture out. Our favorite place to have dinner is Skunk Hollow Tavern.

Eric and I got engaged at the Kedron Valley Inn just a few miles from Ascutney. Little did we know at the time that our paths would lead us to this area again. We happened upon Ascutney Mountain Resort quite by accident. But after a ski weekend with our young girls, then 2 and 4 we knew we had to make this part of our family memories. And it's not just about the skiing. Eric is a farrier (horse shoer) and I have ridden horses all of my life. Green Mountain Horse Association is just down the road. With the opportunity to participate in events and the fall rides at GMHA it was a perfect match for us! We love all that Vermont has to offer in all 4 seasons and we are happy to share that with you! Just returned from a summer vacation in this unit. Can't say enough about the great communication with the owners! This is truly a condo that has everything (great kitchen, fully equipped with all the bells and whistles). TV's w/cable--CD/DVD/VHS players. Plenty of space for large families-Grandkids loved it--indoor-outdoor pools/playground/great restaurant at the resort-never need to get back in the car--but it's also a great home base for roadtrips all around VT. and NH.Don't miss a walk to the wonderful General Store-takes you back in time! We plan to go back for a romantic weekend alone.Highly recommend this property!
