This house was absolutely perfect for us. My sister and her husband live in Florida and we live in Tenn, so we met in the middle. The owner, christy, was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive to any, and all questions. The house was beautiful and the layout was perfect. It is an open design, you can see everything from the kitchen. The bed in the master bedroom was awesome - it was HUGE. While we were there the temp was 100 degrees so the air conditioning was wonderful and very much welcome after sitting on the screen porch (our favorite spot)enjoying the beauty, the quiet and a cup of coffee. From the screen porch you could see the 1st tee for the Plantation Golf course and the driving range. What was great was the driving range is open to anyone and the balls are there so you can go hit some anytime. Another awesome feature was that we were able to bring our dog. He too loved the screened porch. We were able to take him for walks and a swim. My sisters favorite spot was the hammock-great place to read. We swam in the pool every night before dinner..we had it all to our selves. My brother-in-law and I went and played Disc golf at a nearby park (Indian Creek) boy did we get a work out, the course was great. Here is some information I hope will be helpful to you if you stay at this lovely house: If you don't have a map of the plantation area you will be lost. The pool and the tennis court that you have access to as quests are located on the road (Browns Ford Rd) right before Planters Trail after the security gate. the Plantation Park Marina that you can rent a pontoon boat or jet ski or swim at (little beach area) is about 1 1/2 miles past Planters Trail road (on your right). When you enter the Reynolds Plantantion there is a shopping area which includes a Publix's...do not shop there, the prices are outrageous. There is an Ingles Market on W Board St in Greensboro or a Walmart, take the I20W to exit 114. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back again. We loved this house! We are new to Reynolds Plantation. The owner, Christy, was very responsive with our considerable amount of questions about the lay of the land. We have three teenagers who appreciate some elbow room, and they had plenty of space. The pictures on VRBO do not do justice! I loved the open layout of the first floor – very spacious with a lot of sunshine. We spent much time in the screened-in porch, enjoying the ceiling fans and flat screen television. We all have laptops, so we enjoyed the secure wireless internet connection and the all-in-one printer/fax/copier. We appreciated the driving range practically in the back yard, with free balls to boot! The Plantation pool and tennis court were just beyond the driving range. The pool is great for lap swimming. I truly feel like Christy invited us to her home and treated us like treasured guests, with all of the attention to detail like soaps, lotions, luxurious bedding and just everything. Uptown has a nice movie theatre and a darling ice cream shop next door. We spent a lot of time on the lake. We went water skiing, tubing, jet skiing, and for our grand finale, we explored the area on a pontoon boat and saw nature at its finest and some very beautiful homes, and then we ate a late lunch on the lake at Ritz Carlton Gaby’s. Perfect!

My sisters and I came down to Georgia for my brother's wedding at the Ritz Carlton. We had an amazing time and staying at the house kept everything as enjoyable as possible. From the beginning of the process Christy was so easy to work with and was available to answer any questions we may have had. We all said the whole time that the pictures do not do the house justice!! We felt the location was perfect in regards to the Ritz and it was very easy to find. The house was stocked with all the extras you could think of and we never really had to the leave the area for anything we may have forgotten. The bedrooms were super comfy & cozy and bathrooms were nice and roomy. The coffee maker made the best coffee all of us have every had! We hope to go back down there sometime soon and when we do this will be our place to stay! It was really nice to be able to stay somewhere that felt like home during such a big event in all of our lives. I would highly recommend it!!!

We had a wonderful time! Your home provided us with all the comforts of home! We relaxed and enjoyed our morning coffee on your beautiful enclosed lanai every morning. Sitting among the treetops and listening to the birds was our favorite way to start the day! We so enjoyed our strolls to breakfast and to the pool. We even walked to dinner and back home by moonlight! Your home is so wonderfully situated to be able to enjoy fine dining and also to enjoy watching the golfers. Your elegant home is absolutely beautiful and your thoughtfulness was certainly appreciated. You made us feel so at home and welcomed! Your home is BEAUTIFUL both indoors and out. It is a perfect location, beautiful golf views and I wish it was cold enough to use the great fireplace. The inside was like a decorators showroom house with everything we could possibly need. The setting is phenomenal. It is the perfect retreat for a romantic weekend, a family or business retreat and is maintained to a tee! There is truly nothing lacking...the kitchen is amazingly well-stocked, and everything in the house is kept in pristine condition. The screened deck is extremely comfortable and we enjoyed our coffee there every morning listening to all of the birds. It was very relaxing, I just wish we were there longer and had more time to enjoy the house. We were there for a 3 Day wedding at the Ritz Carlton which is so close by and beautiful. The owners are very involved and eager that your experience there be top notch. They are very pleasant to work with. Leni & Rick Florida

Memorial Day Family Gathering, 2010

There were 6 adults and 2 young children this past Memorial Day in Christy's lovely house. Everything was just as she said. We all had a wonderful time. The screen porch was used the most (of course, the bed were too - they were made for sleeping), the kitchen, grill and wine cooler made meal preparation easy and tasty! The guys enjoyed the golf courses - twice. The gals loved the spa at the Ritz-Carlton. We had several delicious meals at Gabby's at the Ritz, The Plantation Grill, and the Great Water restaurant. We will definitely plan a return trip!!

Great location within Reynolds Plantation with easy access to all facilities! The house is very nicely appointed with everything one could want when visiting for either a weekend or a month. This owner goes the extra step with finishing touches to make our visits comfortable including a fully equipped kitchen and all of those necessities for kitchen, bath and laundry so you don't have to go shopping for the basics. The highlight of the place is the wonderful screened porch overlooking the first fairway of Plantation Course with dining table and cable TV. All you need to add is a cooler. We've visited on several occasions and shared with family. The upstairs master bedroom is large and very nicely furnished with a 2nd room with two twins. So, it's a great space for 4 golfers or two couples with children. Having stayed in other locations at Reynolds Plantation, we've found this house to be the most comfortable, nicely appointed, and most reasonably priced rental location yet. The office and internet access are a bonus to be able to "stay in touch" while away. Add to that a gracious and accommodating owner who welcomes our four legged chiled and is available by phone for any questions, any time of day, it's truly a win!

Great Place and Owner

We booked this rental last minute for the 2010 Masters weekend and the experience could not have been better. The description of the house does not do it justice. Better than we expected in all categories. The last minute planning usually causes all kinds of hurdles and in this case there were none. The owner is great and easy to work with. If you are a golfer it is literally a couple steps down the hill to the practice range and you can sit on the porch and watch them hit into the green and putt out. The TV on the porch was the best. Go to the tournament then come back and relax and watch the replays on the porch. Extremely quiet and comfortable. Also we were a five minute drive to the Ritz if you want to socialize. We also recommend Filet Steak and Seafood resturant. The owners are great and food was excellent. Christy thanks for your hospitality and will be back next year hopefully for the full week. We cannot give a better recommendation than we will return soon and really never wanted to leave.

Great base location for exploring Reynolds

My wife and I are considering relocating to Reynolds Plantation. In 2008 we did the realtor's 3 night discovery package at the Ritz. We really like what we saw, but, to be fair, anyplace would seem nice when staying at the Ritz. We rented this house for a 2 week return visit and it worked out very well. The house was conveniently located for golf, use of the driving range and long walks. It was also relatively close to the main entrance and easy to find (if you've been to Reynolds you'll know how easy it is to get lost). The house was also in great shape, very quiet and worked out well for our 2 dogs. The owner (Christy) was very helpful in trying to arrange tee-times for us. However, I will say that if you are looking to play golf every day, you may need to make other arrangements. The owner's membership is for the Plantation course...which is not available for guests on certain days. We were able to work with our realtor to get out on some of the other courses.

We stayed in this beautiful house over the Christmas/New Year's holidays. It was warm and wonderful. I wish the weather had been warmer but we did get to play golf at the Plantation course. Great layout. I would highly recommend this house as a excellent vacation retreat!

We stayed at the home 9/25-9/27 for a getaway weekend for my sister before her upcoming wedding. It was GREAT! Everything you could ask for and more. Christy, the owner, was so nice and great to rent from. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this beautiful rental property to anyone interested in staying at Lake Oconee. It is just minutes from town. I can't wait for another excuse to go back again. We made so many memories there thanks to Christy.

We just stayed two nights at your beautiful home at Reynolds Plantation on 9/11-12th, as we were there for a wedding at the Reynolds Marina/Pavilion. It was absolutely perfect for us and so relaxing. The guys loved watching all the golfers(when they weren't playing themselves), from the porch. We spent lots of time out there. We felt very much at home and look forward to a longer stay in the future. Thanks for making it so warm and welcoming. We'll be back!

We stayed at this home Sept.2009 and everything was exactly as described. The owner, Christy, is very nice and easy to work with and the townhome was spacious and accommodating. We stayed in this lovely home over the July 4th week and had a fabulous time. The guys could walk to the driving range so they were in "7th Heaven". This place was amazing! So quiet and beautiful. The view from the kitchen and porches were so serene I hated to leave. The home was move in ready and all we had to do was bring our luggage. Christy, the owner was so accommodating and made our stay nice and enjoyable. The porch and study looked over the beautiful golf course. My family and I plan to go back sometime soon and enjoy the golf :)
