"Good Morning America"(on ABC News)stated in July 2008 that Saint Augustine is the the Nation's Oldest City and the place to go where people "feel as though they jetted across the Atlantic without breaking the bank."

Then again, US News and World Report (June, 2009)listed St. Augustine among the 'top 10 places in the country to live, work or retire'. Among the reasons given: Lots of fun things to do. Colonial charm. World class golfing. The Atlantic ocean -- and my unit is right on it, not a block away! Friendly place. Hometown feel. And other reasons too.

But don't just read about it. Come visit! Stay in an ocean condo unit.

Mine is not just ANY condo unit. This is a GREAT Unit. SEE FOR YOURSELF. SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN AND SEE THE SIXTEEN (16) PHOTOS. THEY SAY IT ALL.

Overlooking our own very wide, clean beach, gardens, pools, and dunes. Look, listen and love it from your own private, third floor furnished balcony. Two large elevators for your convenience. Building has only 4 floors, so our view is superb).

Call to speak with us regarding the period of time you're thinking of, to see if we can help realize your SHORT or LONG-TERM needs in a casually elegant, comfortable condo-home].

We are directly on the beach, with very ample dunes joined by our own private boardwalk which spans from pool to beach. Note: We have TWO POOLS and a third KIDDIE POOL, all by the ocean. [Click the 'camera' at bottom of page for more pictures].

Dramatic coastline that changes from boulders on the north (popular with surfers) to fine sand on the south (popular with bathers). The sands widen as you head south; by the time you reach us, the beach is a wide expanse of virgin white sand.

'Old' Saint Augustine is 5 miles 'up the road' North of us. Crescent Beach is about 5 miles below us. As part of Florida's First Coast, we have a sandy place for you!

"Maison sur Mer" ("Home on the Sea") is the name I have chosen for my personal condo Unit. We are on the 3rd of four floors (with elevators) of the Saint Augustine Beach and Tennis Club.

We have a wide, clean and deep beach -- even quite pristine, with very little car traffic compared to other beaches.

THIS CONDO UNIT:
has been decorated as a home - my home! - which I am willing to share with those who will respect the property and enjoy it well. Mint condition. Completely renovated as of January 2003. [We just finished $24,000.00 of renovations in February 2003].

We have two elevators for access, and wide parking spaces for renting guests. Walking time from bedroom to beach is less than a minute, depending on the speed of the elevators and the pace of your walk!]

AREA INFORMATION:
Saint Augustine reports a 90% return tourism because of the area's charm. This Spanish colonial town, the oldest continuously occupied European settlement within the continental United States, offers you the charm of many very narrow, 'old world' style streets. They are quaint, and lovely to walk on hand-in-hand!

St. Augustine was founded 55 years before the pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock. It is a time capsule capturing nearly 500 years of history.

Saint Augustine Beach is also the county's most popular beach, actually on an Island (St. Anastasia Island), with the highest concentration of condominium complexes. This is where many of the locals come to enjoy the sand and surf. Many things to do within small radius; very manageable traffic.

GOLF COURSES: (1)King and Bear, 18 holes/72 par; (2)Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, 2 championship courses; (3)Radisson Ponce de Leon, 18 holes,72par; (4)Sawgrass, 18 holes, 72par; (4)Saint John's County, 27 holes, 72par; (5) Saint Augustine Shores, holes 18, 72par.

EVENTS:

ONGOING: Art Walks (every first Friday); Farmer's Market (every Wednesday and Saturday); International Films ( 1st/3rd Tuesday every month); Summer Concert (free, every Thursday starting June 5th through summer).

ATTRACTIONS: Glassblowing studio, Fountain of Youth Archeological Park, 'Old Jail', Oldest wooden schoolhouse, Potter's Wax Museum, Ripley's Believe it Or Not, Alligator Farm, miniature golf, dolphin encounters, World Golf Hall and Imax Theatre, Historical sites galore, Outlet Malls for discount shopping.

Father Noonan, We have really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was everything you said it would be and more -- very well equipped with much more than any we had rented before. It is beautifully decorated and felt more like a home. We hope to come and stay in your lovely place again. Time to go back home now, with many happy memories and well rested. Thank you for the use of your home. God bless. (Jack and Jan Frye, Tennessee.) PS: You may use this comment on your web site.
