When you think of a perfect vacation, it starts with the perfect location, and that of course is beautiful Destin, Florida. Your next thought is the perfect rental home, close to the beach, plenty of room for the whole family, and a great backyard with a large pool. Well, I’ve just described Ocean Breeze, our latest addition to East Street Pet Friendly Vacation Rentals. If you have stayed with us before you know the quality of our homes and our attention to detail. Well, we’ve outdone ourselves with Ocean Breeze our newest 4 bedroom, 3 bath home one block from the beach. The three main features that you’ll love about Ocean Breeze is the FABULOUS backyard with oversized swimming pool (18’ X 36’), plenty of lounge chairs and seating, and a great shaded patio cover so mom and dad can be out of the sun while the kids play in the pool all day.
The second feature you’ll notice is the closeness to the beach (700’), with convenient beach access at the end of the street. And third, you’ll enjoy the open floor plan. The kitchen, with breakfast bar (seating for four), is open to the dining room (seating for six) and the living room (featuring a 42" Flat Screen HDTV) so everyone is included in a family gathering. For those with mobility issues there is a guest bedroom, with walk-in closet, and a full bathroom on the first floor, with convenient access to the backyard and pool area. This is an ideal bedroom for grandparents. The second floor of this wonderful home features three more bedrooms; a huge master bedroom, with an equally large master bathroom supporting a walk-in shower, jetted tub and double vanity. And to top it off, the master bedroom, with a magnificant king bed, also features private balcony access where you can watch the gorgeous sunsets while sipping your favorite wine or just some alone time with your significant other.
We haven’t forgotten the kids either. The third bedroom is the bunk room, with top of the line bunk beds (2 sets), and their own TV with PlayStation 2 video game player and two controllers. The fourth bedroom, with queen bed, features a great view of the backyard pool area, walk-in closet, your own TV, and plenty of room, rare in many rental homes.It is only natural to wonder what the home really looks like in person, if the pictures do the property justice. Ocean breeze was a beautiful beach getaway! We came for a family reunion and fell in love! The house had a cute beach charm and was spacious and gorgeous. Plenty of room for the whole family, not to mention the 2 minuet walk from the beach and a big beautiful pool. We had plenty of room for the dog in the backyard. We also loved the golf cart, for transportation to all of the close food and shopping. Perfect location. We hope to come back next summer!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

What an amazing retreat! My family and I hosted a small family reunion here, and everyone loved it! Amazing pool! The pool was heated and huge. It also had plenty of grass for the dog. The inside of the house was gorgeous and very spacious. We had plenty of room for the whole family. The house was just a block from the beach, and also very close to restaurants and shopping. The golf cart made it fun to go around. This house has so much to offer and we hope to come back next summer!

We stayed at Ocean Breeze in mid-October -- it was our first time ever in Destin. We found the home to be exactly as described on the website: it was clean and beautifully furnished, and they did not exaggerate how close to the beach it is -- you walk out the front door, turn left, and you can see the ocean!

This was by far our best stay in Destin. Even with the rain it was great. Our girls had the big pool and our little yorkie loved the fenced in back yard. Rick and Debbie thank you so much for a warm and beautifull home. Anyone wanting to visit Destin rest asure that Rick will provide you with a clean confortable home. Thanks again we will be back next year.

We stayed with two other families and had a total of 10 people--the house was not cramped at all. Plenty of room. The pool was large too in comparison to other homes in the area, and we could not get over how close we were to the beach. We were about a block away. We're considering making this an annual trip. The house was in great shape, and extremely close to shopping and restaurants. Loved it!!

This was our 4th consecutive year of vacationing in Destin and this was definitely the best trip thus far. We absolutely LOVED Ocean Breeze ... everything from the spacious backyard and pool to the lovely neighborhood to the proximity to the beach. We'll be back!! :)

Had a great time....the house was beautiful and the pool was huge compared to most in the Destin area!! It's great that the house is pet friendly!! DVD player in living room wouldn't work and he came out the next day to replace it. Had a wonderful time and can't wait to stay there again!!
