Located on the beautiful northern California coast, The Sea Ranch is a relaxing coastal retreat.
There you can walk along the 10 mile Bluff Trail or enjoy any of the many beaches TSR has to offer. The choices are many and varied from Seal Beach where seals are plentiful to Pebble Beach where you will find a variety of pebbles colored like polished glass to Shell Beach where, yes you guessed it, shells are abundant. You can also check out the Tide Pools or many other activities that include golfing, tennis, swimming, hiking, abalone diving & horseback riding to name just a few. There are 3 recreation centers to choose from and Burl Tree is within walking distance to Del Mar Rec Center that offers tennis, an Olympic sized pool & a sauna. There is also a children’s playground nearby.
The house itself has an inverted floor plan that offers panoramic ocean views that can be enjoyed from the living & dining area and is a great place to relax. There is also an upstairs deck off the living room that offers expansive views as well as a front row seat to check out the deer, birds and the occasional jack rabbit. The two master suites are downstairs and both have access to the patio deck and hot tub.
The quaint town of Gualala is only minutes away for your convenience. There you can stock up on groceries or choose from a variety of good restaurants. Other shopping includes clothing, gifts, books and art galleries.
Sea Ranch is not just a place it’s an experience. As soon as you smell the eucalyptus and cypress trees mixed with fresh sea air, you immediately start to unwind and leave your cares behind.

House is very clean, spacious and well-maintained. The owners have provided all the basics, plus thoughtful extras to ensure maximum convenience and comfort, like books and games, a variety of kitchen utensils, a charming (and warming!) wood stove, and washer/drier. Beds in the bedrooms are extremely comfy; the sofa bed is not as plush, but serviceable. The floor plan of the house emphasizes privacy for the bedrooms and socializing the common area. We had all we could need or want for a relaxing week. The views are *incredible*, especially the ocean view while relaxing in the large hot tub or sitting on one of the two patios! The house is SO close to the beach and the shoreline hiking trails are well-maintained, so it's easy to go exploring, if you aren't curled up on the couch enjoying the view from under a cozy blanket. Keep a look out for sea lions, birds, and your favorite constellations! We had great experiences with community amenities, too- lap swimming and yoga class. The residents and staff were very welcoming, not at all biased against "renters". My experience was unlike staying in a hotel or typical rental house, it's more like staying at the guesthouse of a very tidy, hospitable friend. I can't wait to go back, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to friends.

Beautiful scenery. Relaxing environment. House was clean & comfortable. I love the mix of indoor and outdoor areas available at this property. I will definitly stay here again and I will recommend it to my friends!

We've stayed on the property several times. It's so peaceful and comfortable. We love to sit on the deck or in the hot tub and listen to the ocean.
