This single detached three-bedroom home in the heart of North Vancouver is a lovely retreat for guests who wish to enjoy easy access to the many attractions in Vancouver and the North Shore.
Front and rear gardens can be viewed through large windows and French doors. The centre of this home is its combined gourmet kitchen and family room. Eating is a delightful experience, with European appliances, cherry wood cabinetry, marble and Corian countertops, built-in sound system and a cozy fireplace. Filtered water, an espresso coffee machine and gas cooktop grill are a few of the extras that make this kitchen special.
The backyard features a villa-style patio with water fall and pond, Ultraline stainless steel built-in barbeque, and bricked walls and steps. The skyline of downtown Vancouver is visible from the patio, and even more so from the master bedroom. A gas heater is available to make the patio experience more enjoyable.
The main floor also includes a dining and living room with a gas fireplace, and an office with custom-built dark wood desk and reclining easy chair.
The large master bedroom includes an ensuite and a walk in closet. There are triple French doors and a large deck. There are two other bedrooms on the upper floor, with a common bathroom with tub and shower.
Located in Central Lonsdale, you will be just five minutes walk from amenities such as groceries, public transit, drug stores and other shops. You can take the harbour Sea Bus across to downtown Vancouver in less than 20 minutes. The house is also just one traffic light away from the highway to Whistler.
If you would like a break from the excitement of the Olympics, there is wooded park five minutes walk away. A five minute car or bus ride will bring you to the ocean, the quaint Edgemont Village, or to Cyprus Park and ski area.
The house was built just 12 years ago, and has undergone three major renovations. Approximate floor area is 2800 ft2. Ideal for a four person family, but there is ample room to sleep another four people in the basement. This is a fully furnished house.
