TWO HOUSES FOR RENT
Our rates $700 per week for CASA GILBERTO and $600 per week for CASA DONNA MARIE. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons. The two houses are on our property at 23 Fuentes, in Arcos de San Miguel in the beautiful and elegant Atascadero area, just a few minutes walk from the center of town. There are a total of three rental houses within the confines of this enclosed property, each with secure parking behind controlled gates.
Rental of the 2 bedroom unit (Gilberto) includes a private outdoor dining patio with fountain as well as a lovely seating and barbeque area within the the larger garden.
This spacious house offers two bedrooms, each having French doors opening to a garden vista. The large full bath features a walk-in shower and Mexican hand painted ceramic decorative accents. The upper level also includes a private outdoor terrace with seating for 6. This is a perfect spot for watching the sunsets and views of San Miguel.
The main level is a wonderful light-filled area which includes an inviting living room, full kitchen, spacious dining room, separate reading-office area and half bath. French doors line the facade of the rooms and provide easy access and lovely views to the beautiful garden.
Located in the center of the first floor, the gas log fireplace, both decorative and functional, provides a beautiful addition to the living and dining areas. In the living room, three seating areas are furnished for your comfort and enjoyment. The dining room, which seats 6 for dinner, has easy access to the well equipped, custom built kitchen. The private patio, accessible through French doors in the dining room, provides a lovely courtyard wiew from both the dining room and kitchen.
Casa Donna Marie, with its 22 foot arched window, boasts a spectacularly light and airy interior. This is a charming place to spend your time in San Miguel.
This newly constructed property provides a wonderful feeling of speciousness with many areas where one may slip away and enjoy a few moments of solitude. The streamlined kitchen with solid cherry cabinets and stainless steel appliances includes a state of the art dishwasher.
The dining table, with seating for six, sits beneath a moravian star chandalier.
The upper level, accessed by a custom-built circular staircase, contains a well appointed king-sized bed, a charming painted Mexican bureau and an antique armoire. The lovely bath, with walk-in shower, has a fourteen foot high ceiling.
The sleeping loft on the third level contains a pewter and brass style single trundle bed which makes into a double for overnight guests. This is a great space for reading, or working at the computer.
There is a private garden with a seating area where one may enjoy a few private hours of relaxation.
We are a short walk to the restaurants, shops and sites in Centro around the Jardin and to the wonderful botanical gargen and Tuesday market. Weekly maid service and cable TV, wireless internet and utilities are included. Wonderful property manager just doors away. Entry to the property is through electronic gates with secure parking.
Rates: $700. per week. $1300.for two consecutive weeks. Monthly rates upon request.
SPECIAL SUMMER RATES: April to October, $1350.00 monthly.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
$700 per week and $1300 for two consecutive weeks,
Long term rate as negotiated.
Booking is 50% with reservation and
balance 30 days before arrival. Refund 100% within 60 days of reservation.
Less than 45 days a total refund if we are able to replace your reservation.

Donna and I purchased this property which needed renovation. We have completed the work and now it is time to enjoy San Miguel. We have been in the property rental business for all of our 43 years of marriage. We love to entertain our guests with stories of local interest and explain about the city. When my husband and I look for places to rent, our number one requirement is to have a peaceful outdoor area to sit and relax from the day's activities and enjoy a cocktail; the Pratts have succeeded! We've only stayed in one of the homes but it could not have been prettier or a more comfortable place to stay. And most important of all, the Pratts are the very most perfect hosts one could possibly wish for; they are there for you! They do everything they possibly can to make one feel comfortable and they treated us like family. They even invited us to join in with them, their other renters, and their personal guests for a drink out on their patio. We love it so much at Casa las Fuentes that we've already made plans to return and stay again with them this winter.”
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.

“If there is an award for being the friendliest and most hospitable vacation rental owners – Donna and Perry Pratt would be deserving recipients! For two weeks in February 2010, Bob and I stayed at the newly constructed (Perry Pratt designed) casita, “Casa Donna Maria”. We arrived after midnight but were nonetheless welcomed by our charming hosts, Donna and Perry. We were shown into a beautiful two-level house, comfortably furnished with everything that we would need for our stay….including food items for breakfast! As well, Donna has a flare for decorating, so the casita was full of artifacts, pictures and furnishings which introduced us to local Mexican arts and culture. We were very impressed by the Pratts’ hospitality on many occasions. For instance, on our first day, after we settled in a bit, Donna and Perry took me to the local super-store so I could stock up on additional groceries and to explain “how things worked”. Very helpful to a newcomer! Donna and Perry provided us with a lot of good information about the various goings-on in SMA, where to find the best shops, restaurants, how much to pay for things, etc. And on more than one occasion, we were invited to join them and their visiting friends at informal patio cocktail parties or to go out for a meal. They were very attentive hosts….we were so well taken care of throughout our two weeks’ stay.
