Situated just 300 yards from the surf, Villa de las Olas is 4,700 sq. ft. of spacious comfort. Experience the excitement of having your own private resort. You'll have a birdseye view of coastal wildlife including the famous migration of whales, dolphins, pelicans, along with many other species.
Our four-tier, bubbling fountain, centered in a lush garden of mature palms, papaya trees, banana trees and bougainvillea, is a welcome greeting for all guests! The Villa's large courtyard, located off stairs from the swim/terrazzo area, is great for entertaining.
And there's always the breathtaking view of the sunrise, over the majestic Sierra Laguna Mountain range, for those who walk the beach early. None rivals the beautiful Mexican sunsets.
Anyone who plays pool will definitely approve of the top-of-the-line, modern pool table. A beautifully leveled surface invites serious competitions! You will find games galore, including darts, and a poolroom with built-in bar and refrigerated wine cooler. The Villa has a 17,000 watt generator in case of outages. State of the art water purification system throughout. For further entertaining, our large oval dining table seats eight, and we have provided designer furnishings in every room, with an eye for comfort.
The outdoor area has six comfortable loungers, situated around the solar-heated pool. This area offers a beautiful tiled poolside shower. An extremely comfortable outdoor living set , which includes sofa, chairs/ottomans and coffee table, is located on the adjoining terrazzo. Add to this total entertainment area...covered bar and large circular dining table w/six swivel chairs-all you need is the food. To compliment any chef, he/she will find the finest form of barbequeing in The Green Egg.
The charming town of Todos Santos, with it's classic red brick architecture and extensive history, is a seaside artists' retreat. With all the antiquities, plus the Mission(circa 1723)facing a centuries-old plaza, one can see the charm. There are art galleries aplenty, numerous shops with unique wares found nowhere else, and some really great restaurants. Of course, nearby are all the water sports imaginable in a perfect climate!
Upon receipt of deposit, materials listing restaurants, activities, cultural events, swim beaches, gift cards, etc. will be e-mailed to you. Our on-site manager, Francis, will help you with any requests or reservations, and she speaks excellent English.

- Our property manager can set up delicious catered meals of authentic Mexican or Italian fare delivered to the casa for your convenience. Eco Adventure Tours will guide you to almost any tour you would like to encounter. They are located in Todos Santos, which can also be set up by the property manager. Eco offers choices of hiking, desert waterfalls, cactus sanctuary, horseback riding, Historical Tour, Cliff Walks, Sierra de Laguna Adventures and whale watching, along with the World Famous Cerritos Surf Beach. Four-wheelers are available for renting, too. Fishing expeditions can also be reserved for you out of LaPaz.

Year Purchased: 2008
After traveling to Mexico several times in the 1990's, and always appreciating the climate and friendly people of Todos Santos, we decided to purchase oceanfront property in 1999. At that time, there were no other homes in the Las Tunas area. Of course, now there is an entire community of fellow Americanos. We started building in late 2007, and were able to complete and move in August 2008. We enjoy our neighbors, the lovely town of Todos Santos, and the cool tradewinds constantly blowing in off the Pacific. Of course, as you can see, we also enjoy the fishing up around the LaPaz area.

This is our second year and are already planning our third. It has Location, if you like isolated, beautiful, beachfront. It is so very comfortable. The furnishings are too nice for a vacation rental: you feel very indulged! The whales put on a daily show for us. The kitchen is more than adaquate speaking as a house full of "foodies". Loved the roof of Hotel Totos and the happy hour special at Shut Up Franks. Mostly we loved being at the house watching the sunrises and sunsets enjoying comfortable times with friends!

We all had a fantastic vacation! Your house is so wonderful and we felt right at home. We saw whales and dolphins and flying rays. We swam with sea lions and whale sharks. Saw every sunset and sunrise. It was beautiful!

Spectacular private retreat! Fabulous location right on the beach close to "Pueblo Magico" Todos Santos. If you are looking for the perfect place to relax, unwind and rejuvenate Villa De Las Olas is for you. Exquisite beachfront property with gourmet kitchen, stunning views, gameroom with pool table, wonderful pool with outdoor shower, large patio with comfy furniture for outdoor entertaining. Magnificent master suite with private veranda for whale watching. This property is equipped with all the necessities and more that exceeds all expectations. Owners Jim and Shirl are very warm, friendly and excellent to work with. Property managers Francis and Ramon are a delight. This villa is a must see and is highly recommended to anyone looking to get away from it all.

Very nice home with great amenities. We have stayed in VRBO properties in BCS for the past eight years and this was right up there with the best. Great bedrooms each with their own bath. Well stocked kitchen. Great outdoor areas whether its sun or shade you're after. The pool is wonderful! The town of Todos Santos is very close and convenient yet you are out in your own private world with no one to bother you. We had a great time and would love to visit again! Thanks, Jim and Shirl.

We cannot thank you enough, Jim and Shirl, for sharing your lovely home with us. We have rented homes all over the world on VRBO and we have to say that your home would be in our "Top 3 Favorites". Our days were filled w/boogie boarding at Cerritos, reading by the pool, cooking & relaxing. We had Francis & her family cook for us one day and it was fabulous! Ramon took Archie shore fishing at sunset~no fish but lots of laughs. They are a very kind & sincere couple. We took you up on your recommendation of Sunday at Cerritos for live music on the beach and I would highly recommend the massage gazebo located there ~ Victor or Jacky are both excellent. Once again, thank you for making our stay special.

We had an outstanding time at the Villa. With the ocean breeze, and the sound of the crashing waves, our stay was truly exhilarating! The comfortable patio furniture afforded us the opportunity to enjoy a drink and watch all types of sealife. The real plus to us was the quiet privacy provided by this luxurious home. Trips to Cerritos Beach were wonderful what with the swimming, surfing, music and drinks. And, yet, we could leave the hubub and return to our pool and solitude ~ none of the Cabo-type noise. We are bringing more friends with us next year!

If you are looking for an amazing vacation property to relax and enjoy your privacy, this is the place for you! As shown in pictures, the house itself is beyond any expectations and no details were overlooked. You are truly staying in a place that has everything you could ever imagine. As incredible as all that is, the real experience is enjoyed in the outdoors, as it is directly situated on the ocean. The highlights we had were walking the beach, swimming in the (heated) pool, amazing sunsets, not to mention the daily "whale shows" from the patio. It was truly an unforgettable experience. I give it a 5 star rating and can't wait to go back again!
