The condo is great. Everything was very clean and ready for our arrival. I loved the location and it accommodated 7 of us nicely. The split level floorplan allows a large group to spread out and would offer a smaller group complete privacy if needed.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: We appreciate your comments and are glad that you enjoyed your stay. After your comments to us about a lack of hot water, we replaced the hot water heater on March 11 with a high capacity unit that is designed for use at high altitudes.

Our gang, 5 of us this year, had a lovely time at this neat cabin/condo. Our group has been taking ski trips out West for years and I would have to rate this one of the best accomodations for the money and location ever. We range in age from 59 to 75 and we enjoy not having to share a bedroom. This was ideal for us. One of our guys took the lower family room sofa bed which, because of the privacy and big flat screen TV, was the envy of us all. Since we like to dine in, the kitchen was perfect with any kind of pot, pan, utinsel, or appliance one would need. The sunrises and the views of the valley below were captivating. This unit is located near the top of the ridge and is close to the Stagecoach Lodge for easy ski access. Without fail, every day after skiing, most of us would take the short hike to the huge community hot tub to rejuvenate our weary old bones and enjoy interesting coversation with fellow tub mates. If we decide to return to the Reno/Tahoe area for our next year ski trip, we would definately return to this ideal home away from home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
Owner response: We are so glad that you enjoyed your time at Lake Tahoe, and we hope you return!

This was an excellent place to stay. We stayed there with four adults and three kids/two of which were toddlers and had an amazing time.... The view was gorgeous and the residence had all of the amenities you could hope for. It was clean and well organized with two separate living areas. The owners were very easy and pleasant to work with and responded quickly to any questions and assisted with attractions in the area. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a very comfortable place to stay with an owner who is very responsive and provided us with personalized travel advice which helped with planning. In the summer heat the high mountain location brought welcome cool breezes every night. Nice view to the East (not Lake Tahoe) from the balcony. This is in a very high density housing area with several "eyesores" - so not a private, peaceful mountain getaway. Still, the bears went through one night and that describes much of Tahoe so get out on a trail early and don't come home till dinner knowing a comfortable bed is waiting!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: We apologize for the exterior construction work that was winding up during your stay, and that the contractor had not finished cleaning up. We are glad, though, that you enjoyed your trip to beautiful Lake Tahoe.

5 of us shared this lovely condo and all had a wonderful time! There is plenty of space to stretch out; both inside on the comfy sofas and chair and outside on the two spacious decks. The kitchen is very well stocked and offers plenty of space and the BBQ on the upstairs deck is great! Although you don’t have a view of the lake from the condo, you do if you take a very short walk. We watched a beautiful sunset one night atop a boulder-perfect. This is a clean and well maintained home that we thoroughly enjoyed! We can’t wait to go back. The pictures on line make it look beautiful and comfortable…and it is just like the pictures.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Your place was the perfect getaway, in the center of the action! Our group of 8 had plenty of room and we didn't even spend any time in the downstairs living room! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have imagined... from pots and pans, to seasonings and spices! Nice open floor plan! The grill worked wonderfully to cook the last meal of our stay! Everything worked as advertised. The hot water in the showers were almost instantaneous! Well cleaned and maintained property. Thank you so much for answering all the questions I had about the area. Not only would I recommend this place to my friends and loved ones, but I hope to return in future winter seasons! Thank you again for making our first experience in Lake Tahoe a remarkable one!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend. Condo is very well equipped (kitchen, TVs, gas grill...), has great views, and is very well located (minutes from casinos, lake front, groceries, etc). The two floors are a plus for those travelling with more than one family. The owners are nice and very helpful. Definitely recommended.Owner response: Thank you! We're glad that you had a good Thanksgiving--sorry about the snow!

The condo has everything to make a tenant's stay memorable: scenic veiws from the windows, well equipped kitchen, spacious rooms and wireless internet connection . We stayed there for almost a week with our parents and kids and everyone loved it. Margaret was a pleasure to deal with. We would love to rent it again when we visit Tahoe for the next time.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you! We're always glad to hear that our guests enjoyed the condo and their vacation at Lake Tahoe.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: My husband and I have been coming to the Stateline/South Shore area of Lake Tahoe for over 30 years, and Tahoe quickly became a tradition for each of our children. Our family considers Tahoe to be home as much as our residence in California. We love the mountains--all four seasons; and even after all these years, we are still awestruck by the sheer beauty of the area. With snow sports in winter, water sports in summer, hiking, biking, fishing and golfing, there is never a lack of outdoor activity. In addition, we can go to great shows at the casinos and enjoy wonderful restaurants both at Tahoe and in the Carson Valley. Lake Tahoe is truly a vacation wonderland, and we have enjoyed the opportunity to be able to explore it so thoroughly over the years. Milt and Margaret, Gridley CA
Why the Owner Chose Heavenly Valley:
After owning a family cabin on leased land at Lake Tahoe for over 50 years, our family lost ownership when the leases were canceled in 2003. We vacationed in other places and even rented a few times at Lake Tahoe, but nothing could fill the gap in our lives. Tahoe had too many wonderful memories. In November 2008, we found our condo with a gorgeous view of the Carson Valley--a favorite for golf and restaurants--and we once again had a Tahoe home.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We are so close to the action in every season! The two ski lifts for Heavenly NV are each .5 mile away, and there are many other opportunities for whatever snow sports anyone wants to do. There is even a small ski hill for sledding right next to the condo. In summer, there are hiking/biking trails everywhere. We just walk out the door and take off. There are 14 golf courses anywhere from 10 min. to an hour away. There are wonderful beaches close by and a pool just steps away. Great restaurants around Tahoe and the Carson Valley, casino action and shows, and shopping both in Tahoe, Carson City, and Reno are all fun ways to spend the days. Also, as Reno is only an hour away, we are close to the many activities that 'The Biggest Little City' has to offer. And finally, when we just want to take it easy, we sit on the deck or on one of the leather sofas inside and look at the gorgeous view.
