If you dream of a nearly new cottage with all the amenities in a picture postcard beach community, then Emerald Dream is for you. This tin-roofed charmer in Grove by the Sea has high ceilings, knotty pine wood floors, gourmet kitchen and lavish master. Nestled amid native landscaping only 160 feet from the community pool, its location off the beaten path offers peace and quiet, yet convenient access to all 30A attractions.
The front door opens to the sunny gathering space encompassing living, dining and kitchen areas. The living room is furnished with sofa sleeper, loveseat and chair with ottoman for comfortable viewing of the 27” flat screen TV. The dining area has a table for 6, with an additional 3 seats at the breakfast bar. The gourmet kitchen has glazed cabinets, tile countertops and stainless appliances. Just off the kitchen is the laundry room with access to both the back yard and large screened porch. With its bead board ceiling and dual fans, the screened porch is the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening cocktails amid gentle gulf breezes.
Two bedrooms are downstairs. The bunk room has a pair of twin-over-full beds and private access to the hall bath, with a tiled walk-in shower and single pedestal vanity. The queen bedroom has a private bath with tub, single vanity and walk-in closet. Upstairs is the spacious master. Even with the king bed and armoire, there is still ample space for a sitting area with desk and recliner. The bath is luxurious, with a deep soaking tub, oversized tiled shower with dual heads, two vanities and private water closet.
If an afternoon nap is in the plans, then head to hammock on the second floor sleeping porch, designed to keep the sun out while letting breezes in. Its expansive views of lush vegetation give it an upscale tree house feel. Hop on one of the 4 bicycles located in the single garage out back and ride to the beach, just a half mile south, or along the Timpoochee Trail, a 19-mile long paved pedestrian and bike path running along the length of Scenic Highway 30A.

Boutique shopping, dining and events are plentiful at Seaside and Watercolor, less than 2 miles west on Highway 30A. All are within a 20-mile radius. Nearby golf courses include Camp Creek, Shark’s Tooth, Origins and Santa Rosa Beach Golf and Beach Club.
